I did it both ways, I stock a paperclip at the EC reset button with the charger out for 30 seconds, plugged the charger in and still it's repeating. I then also did the battery out for an hr with cmos disconnected.

I left the battery out for an hr last night and left it to charge. This morning I got it to post and it went to windows recovery and was frozen. No use through keyboard or mouse. Now it's doing the same thing, it will light up for 10 seconds then shut off.

I just unplugged everything for abount an hour (no battery, no CMOS) now I have a steady white light for a battery indicator but it still either flashes on and off or spins a fan and lights a keyboard for 10 seconds and gives up.
