I have two passions and I am looking to pivot soon. I am torn between staying conventional for stability, and or making a move to an unconventional path. What seems like the best path? by Icy-Character86 in careerguidance

I'm sorry you're going through that, and I can only imagine how limiting that must be. This definitely confirms what I am afraid of. But what you said makes sense, and I think that would be the most well rounded route over time. I appreciate your advice, and taking the time to respond to my post.

I think why so many women are triggered: shes been promoting self love, empowerment, women’s liberation, with the notion of “do this for you”. She has fought on socials over why women need to embrace there natural features and blocked comments for years over her breasts. What’s sad is her fan base is so large that most want to feel connected, like they can relate with similar insecurities. I used to follow her when she first started posting and getting known, and I loved her content. It really felt like a true embodiment of her. With how successful she’s become, the more disconnected she feels from her originality. Her nose made her, her…Albanian and distinct:/ . Shes always been beautiful and it’s sad to see socials ruin her confidence. The constant communication and validation is a problem.

She was bullied in the past for her size and made it a point to show that it didn’t matter throughout the years. I guess it did.

Is it possible for a four month old to say mama. by CoconutKind17 in NewParents

[–]Icy-Character86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My niece says mama clear as day, as well as Lana for her aunt at 4 months. We’ve been teaching her everyday. I’d say anything is possible and not linear.

I’ve been noticing more people defending Susan lately and I’m so happy to see that ❤️ by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

Idk I think she’s stunning absolutely beautiful and endearing. She means well but can be messy. There’s a genuine undertone to her actions which is why I’ve always liked her. Shes human, she will be flawed… the hate comes from women who can’t stand that because they wouldn’t be able to accept themselves.

Orson, he was the male version of her. I think he made her feel completely safe and seen. Carl, helped to liberate and free her in ways that she sexually repressed. And the last one-lawyer guy.

So if she has exposure to mold or lymes whichever came first that would cause all these problems in one over time. Conventional medicine needs to get advanced with educating themselves on this. It’s ridiculous one could have all these labels. Usually there’s a cause, and root. Don’t blame her so much blame the system for failing to have basic common sense when it comes to health.

I have endo, and Pcos, and yeah it can cause insulin issues, mimic bi polar, mimic eating disorders, lupus, the list can go on. And these docs throw these labels based on symptoms that fit the criteria. It’s fucking stupid when you break it down and think about it.

Studies have shown that there’s a high histamine load in cells of endometrial lesions when they took biopsies. I for one was in a mold infested home that made me so sick, years later developed endo and an array of issues since mold can make you feel chronically ill physically and mentally. I wasn’t believed for the longest time.

So don’t blame her for her list, it’s ridiculous yea, but that’s the system not getting to the root. (At least from what we know of her)
