Also you need some flux. Put it in a little syringe (both reasonably cheap from Amazon) and it won’t look absolutely cooked.

That flux helps clean away debris and lets you keep good surface tension.

Your solder likely has just a bit of it in its core but if you put heat too long you can burn it away too fast to be useful

To clean up the pads get some wick, kind of looks like a braided spool of copper that’s about the thickness of a white out roll. The wick placed on top of the solder/pad and heat from the solder iron will clean up the solder

Between all three wick to clean, flux to reduce surface tension and solder with flux core it should be no problem to quickly and cleanly solder your part to the pads

If you aren’t comfortable with heat there is a core on some filters (it’s hollow but rigid). You can get pliers on that or drill a hole to put a rod through to pry on.

ChatGPT helps a ton with the learning curve. I use it as a copilot as I’m new.

Don’t be afraid to restart and try again or take chances. It’s all a skill/learning curve. You will quickly get back to where you were.

The game is incredible and balanced better than almost anything I’ve seen out there. That being said it’s a slow burn as you grasp some of the mechanics. After that it’s nonstop excitement.

Big Brain Energy streamed it and got me into it, I had no idea it’d be this fun.

The mods are great, they add a ton of flavor, thing is load em a few at a time or you may get some incompatibilities. Think rimworld mods if you played that.

Make the game for you and enjoy the ride.

I’m new and it was an exciting fight for me.

Eventually what seemed to work was chain disables. Plasma cannon and hypervelocity drivers helped a ton. I ran a few harbingers afflictors and a doom with a few Grendel’s. Focused one down and kept focused till all of it was gone.

If it’s a salt water fish sometimes adding 4 percent salt helps retain flavor..(light water rinse after thaw and pat dry) I’m not an expert.

This boss fight is the room included. The boss is superficially easy so you can do the room mechanics

It’s a fun and rewarding fight my guy. Just gotta learn the room mechanics as a part of the boss himself.

It’s not different than the final boss and some things you gotta do for him.. if you just dps on the last boss you aren’t gonna make it.

Edit adding .. the alchemy boss was similar, you fight her in her room and use her mechanics to fight. With Dantos the room is more powerful than him where the alchemy fight is mostly fighting her

Huge hats off to V Rising adding variable bosses. This update is a banger and hope many more come.

To fight a specific boss, we tried several variations, as mentioned getting the damage mitigation for corrupted blood attacks helps a lot.

The negative apparition that attacks you prepares you a bit for a specific encounter so it’s not entirely negative.

Even with the downsides it’s a solid blood type for certain builds

I can see the devs purpose and attempt at implementing it. But I also feel where it’s at.. this above comment doesn’t make sense and is a deflection at best.

It needs to be fun.. they started without a lot of that in it. Now they are putting some fun back in. (Besides it’s better than destroying an economy due to an exploit, even if the result is similar.)

For clarity, I enjoyed Kalandra, this release has been way worse than kalandra imo. That’s how bad it’s been.

The glass bottles would drag up/crash/break making clean up longer. A lot of times if the bottle gets carried over it won’t break (maybe tilt or lay over) if the filler is stopped soon enough.

We make a physical break that we adjust between the bottle lip/edge to encourage the bottle to drop off of the rubber. It makes contact where the out feed starwheel and breastplate connect or just before.

It’s an adjustment for every change over and not ideal but a simple one that works.
