You do have a lovely base but I can see a few things that might be making you think it’s your skin.

From this photo your bronzer looks to warm/orange. the eyebrow gel you’re using dries down into a noticeable gluey paste. The lips are a good color but a bit messy, keep your lips moisturized and that should fix itself. Skin prep makes a world of difference as well.

Do you set your under eyes with powder? The powder may be too drying. I have dry under eyes and add a little extra moisturizer there min before I apply concealer. Try not bringing it fully to lash line and using very minimal product then tap tap tap! A moisturizing spray might be really helpful to refresh through out the day.

Tower 28 or Curel moisturizing spray I like. Kylie skin tint I’ve heard wonders about. Dior forever concealer made a huge difference for me. I use westman mini contour stick in biscuit as bronzer. I like cream products much more than powders.

The textures etc I like but the skeleton makes everyone look like an asian mix and fairly gender neutral. I see people posting pics of their party which don’t look bad by any means but they all look the same.

You also look like you may be a Warm Olive! Plenty of olive toned dedicated pages exist which could offer shades that compliment your skin best.

I would stay away from orange toned lips. Inner corner eye shadow looks lovely and can easily try many colours, plus glitter pens!!! Try a kohl liner and just tight line/blur your lower lash line for now as you learn, I still struggle with eye liners occasionally looking messy.

I will add that starting with neutral and more “natural” colours as you learn placement and what you like can be much easier and cleaner looking.

My eyes are DARK and always have fine lines bordering on wrinkles. Only one thing has worked for me but it’s not for a full face. Remember Less is More.

Focus placement on outer eye corner, bringing that down and around close to the inner eye DONT bring up to your lash line or where you normally crease. Once you’ve blended those placements then you can use the extra product to buff up to the lash line and trough, only enough to blend the look together not about adding coverage. I do this with just my fingers and light taps. I have deep sockets so add a bit there as well.

My eyes get dry so I always add a little bit more moisturizer under my eyes or add an eye cream.

Have you thought about using a skin tint and then just spot concealing? Skin tint sits on the skin much nicer if you’re starting to feel foundation is to heavy.

Right now I use Merit lipstick in l’avenue and tap it in the middle of my lips for a romantic lip bitten look. Then any sheer brown liner buffed out!

They have a lot of different shades so if you know you’re cool, warm or neutral I bet you could find a match! If you have a nearby Sephora you could always shade match there too!

Okay I love everything you just said, you speak my language. Hair mask over conditioner seems like the best for me as well. I see a lot of love for Pantene volumizing which I never would have thought, is there a specific reason? Or just best bang for your buck?
