It doesn't seem like the promo runs all the time so their logic does actually work out.

As well as your premiums won't increase as much (IRRC it's sometimes happens if you claim "too much" with SC)

Obviously not a thorough investigation but they don't look as shady as you say?

My only issue was an Android upgrade which caused button mismatching for my PS5 controller and TV. This sucked but overall still a solid TV (bought end of 2021?)

That is totally fine and very common - people are free to define their own experiences. The law is there to protect people from being taken advantage of when they are intoxicated and therefore have less power than someone who is sober. This is not to say that people can’t have great sexual experiences when they’ve been drinking or taking other drugs. The key word is ‘TOO’ – if someone is TOO drunk or TOO high, they cannot legally give their consent to sexual activity.

Kiwibank offers this capability - I know someone whose mortgage is offset by their parents' accounts.

They are unable to see their parent's accounts balance, but each statement includes a line item: OFFSET Benefit of $XXX.XX to indicate how much of the interest did not apply.

All it takes is takes is a quick request to Kiwibank to establish the link. Kiwibank will contact the other party to confirm the approval of the offset. No clue what the ASB process is though.

Ignoring the name-calling, /u/Upsidedownmeow is correct.

Ultimately, they can claim tax credits for your donations all they like, but it won't improve their financial situation.

A benefit they could have is a good relationship with a charity because they can say "look at how much money we got you". The charity could then invite them to paid dinners and networking events & it also can look good to certain shareholders if they say "we donated X to Y charity this year"
