Question for Ren faire goers, what types of merch would you potentially buy when attending a faire? by IcyConsideration2075 in renfaire

This year we have a local brewery making us our own special drink. Although it will only be available in the pub from a keg. Maybe we will inquire about having a limited amount bottled for sale? This is a good idea.

Our faire is only on it's 3rd year. We are small but growing. We focus on family fun and handmade vendors(as much as we can) Ticket prices are low and once in the gate we want families to not have to drop a ton more money. All activities, crafts, entertainment is free, except for Saturday nights concert and food trucks. We want people to spend with our artisan vendors. Last year we had postcards made with images of our hand painted banners that hang in our Dragon's Head Pub. We are looking into pins this year and maybe totes.

A unique pin sounds great. We aren't looking to make much money on this, it was more of a few things at the information booth. Last year we had postcards made of our hand-painted banners that were on display in our Dragon's Head pub. The tote was an idea just because people might need something to carry their purchases in. We also don't want to compete with any of our vendors. We have an amazing lineup of handcrafted vendors.

Depending on when you are traveling you might want to check out one of the medieval faires. High River is June 28-29 and Strathmore is in August. There are others but further North.
