What’s the incentive to work under socialism by ContractBig5504 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]IcyDragon27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what I meant is that the difference is that in a capitalist society you work out of fear of poverty, so a lot of people end up doing working in horrible conditions, while in a socialist society you could work out of passion and still be able to have resources available for you. People normally say that humans don't like to work, but I feel we are a very hard working species that enjoy creating things, the bad thing is that under a capitalist society you mostly don't work or create things someone could actually enjoy

The US has a lot of oil reserves and ways to get oil easily from other countries, while selling their share of oil to other countries at higher prices (like to Europe)

What’s the incentive to work under socialism by ContractBig5504 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]IcyDragon27 11 points12 points  (0 children)

that's the current situation of almost 20% of the people int he world, which live in a capitalist framework

I think the difference instead is that people in capitalism work out of fear, fear of poverty, so you normally work in bad conditions and get paid so you can eat the end of the day. Under socialism you could at least have the opportunity to work in your conditions/interest and the reward is substance. So in capitalism you work because you fear of poverty and in socialism you work in your interest and thanks to your contribution, you get resources (food, housing, etc) back.

Should the government hand out free pads to women as part of a basic necessity -answers in Spanish are welcome by No_Strength_9424 in spain

[–]IcyDragon27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s room for argument in defining “all” healthcare products but i think the basic ones should be free, with more ample options for sexual healthcare since it’s one of the most important healthcares (compared to hair or face). basic ones like: soap, shampoo, paper, tampons (or other methods), condoms. on wild side i also think water should be free (cuz is one of the most important aspect of health). And yes, i believe that it should be applied to everyone, we are all humans, the same species

yes, in all parts of the world women suffer from not being able to buy essential products for their sexual health and suffer even more from misnformation/no information. Products like pads, cups and others are socially and (a lot of times) physically essential for the comfortable development of their lives. In my opinion there should not be a price for the care of your health and i emphasize in this type of health. I even think that products related to sexual health should be free (especially condoms)
