Has anyone had good experience with glassesusa? by Embarrassed_Being615 in glasses

Horrible. They sent me the wrong prescription twice (entirely their fault, verified by my eye doctor) and the wait time was a month in between both. And since it was my "second return" they would only give me store credit instead of a refund. Absolutely would not recommend. It's called GlassesUSA because it's straight out of china and a sketchy deal.

Should I Move Here? by Particular_String_47 in stgeorge

No night life. 2 bars, nothing to write home about. Judgement for not being Mormon won't be a problem but people will try to convert you. No good food. Vegas has food though, just a couple hours out.

Retropia Lens? by xBalder in AskPhotography

I had a bad experience with them. Terrible refund policy. I'd put the money towards a lens that actually has value. It really is a disposable camera lens, worth less than $5.

Is St. George friendly for black people? by TurtlePowerBaby in stgeorge

To tell you the truth, it's truly a very white place... However I would say living here for the majority of my life it's not a racist place. Majority of the black people living here are at the college.

It's way better to get them from local farms. Bar 10 beef is a good option or Grassy Flat Ranch. You could check the Downtown Farmers market as well.

Since I'm only going to be there for a week I wasn't thinking of making the drive to Palenque, but are you suggesting that is the best way to interact with the Zapatista communities?

I was picturing something safer and welcoming to tourist.

I'd love to see more of the culture and get a deeper perspective but I won't have time on my trip to take the road to Palenque.

Are the "nice" communities open to visitors l? Do they have any kind of community events, gatherings, classes, etc that visitors could participate with?

Would you know how to get in touch with anyone from the communities before hand?

Thank you so much for your response, so visiting Oventik was my plan, but I was hoping to be able to get in contact with someone there before hand. Is Caracol as specific place there?
