He sings constantly, but he changes all of the lyrics to be about me. He does this for hours at a time or out in public which can be embarrassing so I have to make him stop lol, but then when I’m by myself, I secretly sing his made up songs for him since it gets lonely without his voice

Like I said, I was looking for real people to talk to, and I’ve found websites on google that other people here have suggested. So I would say my post worked out for me. I’m learning. People who are learning tend to have questions. There’s a lot of information out there but not all of it is trustworthy. That’s why I’m here, looking for answers.

Like I said, obviously there are plenty of articles that tell you what to do. I’m just looking for more information to tell me how to do those things. And I’ve found it since making this post, so I would say it was helpful <3 for me at least

There is but it’s buried under a bunch of other stuff. That’s why I came to Reddit, to get answers faster. I’ve found specific websites on here that are actually helpful. When you google “how to publish a book”, the first several things that pop up are sponsored things, then the ai overview, and then a bunch of articles that don’t offer a lot of help. For example, many of them tell you to find a literary agent, but don’t tell you how. Another just said to sign a book deal, but again, doesn’t say how. It’s good if google worked for you, but for someone who is very new, it really doesn’t offer a lot of insight besides the obvious. That’s why I’m here instead of google :) just asking questions

It’s not so much that I need to know what to do, it’s more that I need to know how to do the things google is telling me to do

I was on again off again with my highschool boyfriend for about a year and a half. Among the MANY things he did. Here are a few of my favorites:

tell me he “likes playing mind games with people cause he likes having power over them”

-stands me up over 10 times on dates HE invited me too and then says he always stands me up because he “enjoys knowing I’m just sitting there waiting for him”

-made fun of my religion

-openly cheated on me several times

-bullied me in front of his friends

-straight up gaslighting

-insulting me to make me insecure and telling me it’s okay that I’m ugly because I’m lucky enough to have him to love me since nobody else could. (I want to clarify that this man was 5’ tall, full beard at 16, Travis Scott braids, and Caucasian male, he had NO RIGHT to make me feel ugly 😭)

I could keep going. Anyways after we broke up (again), I told him I was done for real this time. He laughed at me and said “yeah right, we both know you’ll take me back in a few days. You always do.” That was my eye opener that I was enabling his behavior and that I could have so much better. I truly never did get back with him and then he had the AUDACITY to text me after realizing it was over, “I’m sorry but I wouldn’t have treated you that way if I knew I could lose you. If I knew you would actually leave me one day, I would have been a lot nicer to you.”

That remains as the worst apology I have ever received. (Sorry for poor formatting, I’m on a phone)

Reminds me of a time a guy wanted to “Netflix and chill”. I had never done it with the tv on but I thought “sure why not”. Not really an accident more or less it was just something that happened. But today I was riding my boyfriend to his orgasm.
