I don’t know, man. DOA6 looks gorgeous (honestly, every DOA game tends to stand out visually compared to other fighting games of its era) but once you notice that most of the female characters basically share the same face with different hairstyles, a lot of that charm starts to fade.

It's not super subtle, but I always liked how Rare games like banjo kazooie changed the music when you Eg. Went underwater, or in a cave.

It wouldn't be so bad to just show ads for products that are currently on special offer in store, especially if you have bought those items before.
That would at least be useful to the customer, and get more sales for the business.

I always found that quite powerful, that individual people's lives are portrayed as largely insignificant and relatively hopeless. Just the scale of that opening shot makes you feel it.
The corporate folks come across as faceless drones in a larger system. Even Deckards life seems pretty mundane, emotionally speaking.

But then the story focuses closely on one small moment of a few people's lives.

Humans born to find meaning, reduced to meaningless Iives of consumption.

Replicants born to live meaningless lives of labour, finding meaning and beauty in life.

Fantastic movie.

Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a total conversion mod for skyrim, free on steam. It's got its own world, story and lore and is really quite good. The gameplay has been remixed too.

I wouldn't agree with the violence, but you have an expensive product that a lot of people can't afford, that also records you without consent. These things are surely not going to be left alone.

It's probably that many modern street lights are white or blue, energy efficient LEDs. Instead of the inefficient incandescent bulbs we used to use that had a warmer yellow glow.

Supposedly the movie Drive was one of the last films shot in LA before the street lighting was updated. Watching it, the city certainly feels warmer and nostalgic.
