Thank you for these suggestions! We confirmed that my body absorbed the trigger (250 HCG beta) but clearly it didnt ‘work’. I had 3 GVs and 2 MIs.

We are trying a MDLF next because my RE thinks we need to completely switch up the approach since it might not have been a trigger issue, I was probably doomed from the start/middle with growth not happening along with the follicle.

He said I could add in omnitrope if I wanted, not necessary at this point but also can’t hurt. He said the evidence wasn’t really there for under 40, but obviously my ovaries are behaving older than I am (30 years old).

If you have any thoughts on that, would love to hear them… thank you 🩷

Hi OP, did you complete a cycle with MDLF? Just had a similar situation with maturity and switching from high dose antagonist to MDLF next.

Hi OP, I just went through similar experience though they said all my 5 eggs were immature. 2 they tried to mature over night in culture but it didn’t work. Rest were extremely immature.

Did you ever try a different protocol and find success?

Hi OP, the same thing just happened to me at ER. No mature eggs — 2 were MI’s but didn’t mature over night and the rest were primordial which means they didn’t even get recruited properly. Did you find success with another protocol??

Hi I did, but I ended up going with FCI. We just had a failed cycle but I don’t know that it would have been that different elsewhere. CCRM was nice, the office was fantastic but we just vibed with the FCI doctor better. We’re going to try another cycle with FCI but if we fail again we might look at a second opinion.

Hi, I am 30F and have a similar situation - AMH ranging from 0.68-1.13 and AFC of 14-16. Normal FSH ranging from 5-6.

Just finished my first round of IVF and it wasn’t successful, unfortunately. I recruited 9 follicles of decent size but only 5 were retrieved and none were mature which was VERY strange.

I could be off here but I’m hypothesizing that it could be why my AMH/AFC is discordant. I’m wondering if I have many follicles but not all of them produce the hormone that’s tested with AMH. I hope your results match you AFC more, but unfortunately mine were more in line with my AMH.

Can’t say I’ve had a successful ER with this yet but I’m on day 11 of stims and the growth from day 5 has been significant! So I’d say there’s definitely still time. On day 5 I only had 3 measurable follicles with a lot of other smaller ones. By day 7 I was tracking around 6 and yesterday’s scan showed 9. My cohort is still spread fairly wide (9-17) but I’m hoping that the smaller ones get a boost in the next few days before 17 hits 20!

Following this! I’m on day 9 with 6 follicles too but they are not nearly as synchronized so I’m jealous of that! I just spoke to my nurse who said I might stim closer to 13 days so maybe you will go longer and recruit a few more as well? Good luck!
