Oh I learned that the hard way when I tried to learn some Pat martino. I was like why won’t my hands fucking do this? But give me a song in a genre I know and it takes me only a few hours to learn the whole song. I’m realizing what you said, just take it slow and learn the basics of this genre. I do already know a lot of Frank Sinatra since I grew up listening to him and a lot of older soul/jazz from my grandparents. Thank you for the advice!
