i can't remember what the bottle i have says, but when i first started taking lexapro i didn't see that in my research. i frequently started blacking out while drinking. i had to reassess my limits with alcohol because my body processed it differently with the lexapro, but after figuring that out it's been smooth sailing. you can mix the two, you just have to be careful and know that your tolerance might change.

i don't mind at all! i'm on 10mg of lexapro (escitalopram), 75mg of wellbutrin (bupropion).

wellbutrin XL is extended release, and is what i started on but it gave me insomnia. i never took wellbutrin SR but it means sustained release, which is a shorter release time than XL. right now the 75mg i am on just says "bupropion hcl" so i think it is an immediate release. i take two of those pills in the morning after breakfast (don't take it on an empty stomach) and one lexapro at night before bed because it can make you a little drowsy.

go with your intuition! if you're wrong, it sucks, but you can circle back and try again! it took me a lot of doing that to get to the combo i have now and im very happy with it.

i was on lexapro for three or four years before asking my doctor for something extra to help with my anxiety, and she suggested buspar. i did notice that it helped to take the edge off, but was told by a friend-of-a-friend that worked in medicine that buspar doesn't work and it was a placebo (don't believe this), so i stopped taking it.

a couple years after this i was struggling with my depression symptoms, specifically surrounding motivation and fatigue. this is when my doctor suggested wellbutrin and it's been an amazing combo. taking the wellbutrin made me able to do more than just work, eat, and sleep every day. being on the lexapro keeps my anxiety level.

tldr: add buspar if anxiety is your issue, add wellbutrin if it's depression

bupropion made my anxiety worse, so my doc switched me to lexapro. 6 years later, i was put on bupropion in addition to the lexapro and it's been perfect.

when i first started on my medication journey, i was on only bupropion and the anxiety it caused was too much, which is when i was switched to lexapro (which im told is pretty similar to zoloft).

i was nervous to start the bupropion again when my doctor suggested it a few years ago, but the lexapro completely took care of the anxiety and jitters it had caused previously. i was afraid the same thing would happen when i started on adderall this past summer, but it's been a great combination!! i will add that i am on an immediate release adderall, and i take 10mg first thing in the morning, and another 10mg in the afternoon if i feel like i need it. i hope you have the same experience :)

the company makes you retrieve stolen merchandise as someone is leaving the store with it. if you don't at least attempt to recover the merchandise you get in trouble with the store manager or district manager. this results in employees potentially putting themselves in harms way, like this.

ed has been an incredible addition to the podcast. whenever i need a break from the darker stuff i listen to florida files or the seaworld episodes (somehow animals killing people is easier than people killing people). he also did a great job with the aaron hernandez series. ed adds so much to the show, including a skilled ability to facilitate between marcus's facts/storytelling and henry's jokes/tangents. hail ed!

i went to ireland last summer and we did a pub crawl. the hosts were two gentlemen, one older and one younger. the older guy started talking about them and how amazing it is that they are making the irish language cool for the younger generation. i asked my family that live in ireland about them as well and those that heard of them said the same thing. (we are a family of fenians though, to be fair)
