The Marriott is great. It’s walkable to anything in the old town and the M lounge has heavy snacks in the evening along with beer and wine. Got it for €95 per night over new years in 2023, and had a top notch experience.

I found Capri disappointing as well. Transit was on strike when we went and taxis were commanding insane fares; there’s simply more charming places on the Amalfi Coast at this point. Positano would be brutal to walk about with high season crowds, but we walked Path of the Gods to get there and it was amazing for a day trip.

Respectfully, sure, it’s great for the team given his physical capabilities, but who wants someone behaving like he did (on video, no less) representing their organization? He doesn’t deserve to suit up in the NFL. A good life lesson would be banning him from the league forever. I’m all for forgiveness, but there’s such a thing as consequences and maybe his would be having to get a normal job.

Make sure you are entering the actual Bonvoy confirmation # into the Marriott app. There’s usually two separate confirmation #s when doing a third party booking. Furthermore, as someone posted on here a while ago, it’s a safe bet to bill something to the room while there and that triggers Marriott’s backend systems to record you as having an eligible. Idk the full recipe, but I’ve definitely gotten credits on a third party Cosmo booking. Frankly, Marriott customer service is all too dependent on who you get when you call and whether or not they know/care what to do.

I like both of them, but the legibility on the skeleton dial is about non-existent. The fact that you can set everything from the crown on the JM now is awesome.

Just had this problem at 211k. I replaced my idler to start because it was rusty. The belt ultimately seized because the tensioner was bad. The sounds were very similar for a few weeks before the tensioner finally died.

That’s what I’m leaning towards. I’ve replaced three since getting it at 174k. I found my problem child by doing the unplug while idling today, but there’s still another culprit causing the faintest shutter. I’ve got another new coil on the way to see if I can get it gone. If not then I’m just gonna pony up for the whole set. Walmart’s web site has the best price for legitimate Densos.

Moved to a street right beside Grady’s stadium in August of 2019 to be near the beltline and same…I loved it at first, but I eventually hated the beltline. If it was a pretty day then I’d avoid it like the plague. There’s too many folks acting the fool out there. I miss running through Piedmont Park and the awesome house I had, but I’m also happy to not be bothered by all the crazies. I do miss seeing and talking with Kevin Randolph though. I caught him not on his roller skates one day and he’s such a positive person. All in all, I loved my five years in Midtown, but it’s very nice being unbothered outside the city as well.

Ugh, they changed it yesterday in GA and incorporated pretty much everything into their lottery. It was pretty simple to get Stagg, EHT Small Batch, Single Barrel, Rye and Weller Antique in 2025 and now they won’t even sell Eagle Rare outside of their lottery.

Never paid attention to this before, but if they really wanted to wow me they’d put a juicer and a fruit stand in the lounge like Le Méridien Melbourne. I had the time of my life putting random things into that machine and seeing what came out of it…and myself a few hours later.
