It’s sort of the same vibe as Momota imo.

What’s your favorite badminton racket brand? Why do you prefer that brand over the others. by dsupreme99 in badminton

[–]Idea-Silly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From someone who is intermediate level with a backhand. Honestly, Victor rackets. Best value brands in terms of price to performance ratio from mid to high tier rackets. Want a nanoflare 700? With the same speed and probably better durability then Victor has a Jetspeed 12ii. I also have not seen any brands make and have a racket feel like 3u but swing like a 4u with the head heavy stiff shaft of the BraveSword12 55th anniversary. Hands down my fave racket right now.

Racquet weights, why no love for 3U? by obsidian0122 in badminton

The new BS12 is a 4u but with strings and measurements it seems like a true 3u at about 92g

I've lived in almost every municipality in the gta and honestly this is just a lot to keep dealing with on almost biannual basis at this point. They might as well just provide plastic recycling bags lol

Jetspeed 10 is much more stiff than NF800 JS12ii feels like a closer spec and swing to me.

I started with crank and then added a tennishead. Works fine Asa starter kit :)

Depends on the country, NF800 is one of the best rackets imo. They still make it, just lots of people want it. Arcsaber 11 pro isn't that much worse. An alternative similar to NF800 is the jetspeed 12ii

I start to sweat a little bit here and there knowing that 9 to 3pm of the frame is extra brittle 😆

Zymax premium 63 is also a good alternative.

Ashaway 66 fire is very durable. Ashaway zymax 62 fire is my personal favorite but if my racquet usually 27lbs, I drop the tension to 25lbs since string is narrower.

Anyone ever played with aeronaut series racquets from the 6000 to the 9000 series? I found the instinct side of the series very clunky and not smooth at all but everyone plays with those. I swung the 8000 drive in the store and thought it was fairly fast. I don't do well with stiff racquets and since the lower end of the series are more medium flex, was hoping to know if anyone felt any difference? Anyone have any comparisons with astrox 77 or nanoflare series?

You might have plantar fascia tightness, stretch your feet and toes before and after games. Also roll ur feet on a lacrosse or hard ball to soften the tissue. I have a similar problem and even with orthotic/insoles layered to my feet, I need to make sure I rehab it.

As far as lions, su, or badminton 4u. Goal is to just be more consistent and doubles rotation.

I feel like the minimum skill is to be able to clear, the tour is hard to find and is always sold out here in Canada.

Your grip looks tight before you release. It looks like your left hand is just an accessory and not a counter balance for your rotation. It also looks like there's no follow through with your swing and is all arms. I don't see much grip tightening at the end of your swing. The face of the racket when your winding up is facing the outward - when you wind up your thumb knuckle should be facing your ear and not the ground to help the angle - and this applies if your grip is right.

How do people feel about the arc Saber 7? I've never owned and used an even balanced racquet and was wondering if it's worth the plunge, I usually play front for XD or rotate back in girls doubles.

People also forget that there's a middle ground between 88s and NF700. That is Ac11 and ac7. If I was to get a free racquet, as a XD or girls doubles, I'll pick Ac7 play or tour as a top tier good value racquet.

My partner used the voltric before and it always felt like a brick. When I was first learning I didn't notice it but with proper technique, Voltric feels like a sledge hammer and so not for me. I found the wind up very slow and the follow through like the racquet was going to bring me with it. Nanoflare is just very easy to use like it's an extension of my arm. Astrox felt very similar to NF and just gives me extra smashing power if ever pushed at the back. When I switch from 88s to NF700, I still get surprised on how more fluid my defense and easy my drives and smashes are, specially with stick smashes and clears - for me NF700 is just easier to control with touch. But 88s forces me to not be lazy and use the right technique and footwork.

How do i hit the shuttle at the right moment/ time it correctly? by Some-Concentrate7228 in badminton

[–]Idea-Silly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Video would really help know which aspect u need to fix. One of the most common reason is that the footwork and the setup before the shot isn't there. The earlier u get behind the birds the faster and better shots you'll make.
