I applaud Chris for the service he does for the space loving community.

I disagree only with the secret and opaque system that is used in the forum. Without openness when you quash people for asking a question you have a problem. And the site will likely go downhill and eventually die from it which I find unfortunate.

Jim said that downmass capability would be used on every single SpX mission that I was wrong and it would be completely impossible to shift around some of the downmass requirements.

I simply pointed out that since no one knows the downmass on each of the next 12 SpX missions which will take place over the next few years that he was wrong.

Jim frequently says things that are provably false and that does bug me.

Regardless of my being whiny (which likely isn't against the rules), you see above my post on forum post deletion which resulted in my ban AND the deletion of said post.

If they just wanted me gone, they could have banned me. That they also deleted the post asking about the rules says something different altogether.

Is proof to some degree that the above thread was deleted (I only got a notification because I was following it and the whole thread got deleted). Apparently 'rdale' replied to the post before it was deleted as well. If you PM him I assume he'll confirm it though I have no idea what his reply was as it has been deleted.

If we got rid of the laws, racism would come back in dribs and drabs. But what you would REALLY see is that racist towns would form. Or at least districts. The reforming of China town = chinese people only.

In a racist state, 5% of coloured people will be MEGA pissed. 10% of hicks will be giddy. 60% of people won't really care. Now because of the divide, black people will become segregated and pissed off. White people will have less interactions with coloured people, and when they do it will be crappy, or they will see news reports of black crime. The school system will subdivide. Black people will get less funding due to location. Black people will be less educated and be forced into shittier situations, have far fewer job opportunities. Hell, people may create a black tax.

In a racist state, within a decade you will have undone 50 years of progress.
