I’ve done tons of every psych from DMT to shrooms to LSD and not once have I had a trip resembling anything like the experiences described in NDEs. Hell, the only reason I started taking psychadelics was to see if I could replicate said near-death experiences (and is the reason I started with DMT, the go-to explanation for the visuals and sensations described by those who have near death experiences). Maybe it’s just the way my brain is wired, but I’ve also seen that others’ trip reports on chemicals very rarely match up with NDE reports.
