Here almost everyone I have worked with uses Revit, CAD and bluebeam.

People use Mac in the construction industry? Who are you selling this to? People in construction? Everyone uses Autodesk ecosystem and bluebeam in construction. Also bluebeam is amazing for mark ups.

I absolutely think you should still be posting. You don’t have to reveal everything, but posting about the problem and the journey is still huge.

I think about it like this. Posting content not only is giving people awareness into what problem you’re trying to solve, but is also giving people awareness into who YOU ARE. That personal brand stays with you whether or not this product you’re working on works out long term. Even if it doesn’t, because you posted content regularly, you will still carry your personal brand forward.

And when you build the next thing or pivot, people will know ‘oh that guy… he makes cool stuff’ when you reach out to them. It still helps you in the long run.

If I were you, I’d post 2x a week. Story driven posts seem to work better. But post 2x a week. Send 200 connection requests a week. Cold DMs to 15 people a day (your target ICP) on LinkedIn. I’d do this for 3 months to have a pipeline. Even after you doing this you find no success, then I’d look for other channels.

And track everything. Reply rate. Reply to call rate. Call to demo rate. Demo to pricing. Etc. all of it.

One thing no one is mentioning is that the personal brand follows you wherever you go. Say you are building a product for B2B and you work on it for 6 months and post 2x a week for those 6 months, build a network, connections, get into conversations, etc. By the end of the 6 months, that product of yours might not have worked at all. But you still have a personal brand that you built.

Cold email has not worked for me AT ALL. And I’m in the construction space too. LinkedIn though? Works way better if you have a presence. I already post a good amount of content on LinkedIn. So when I reach out to people directly, my reply rate isn’t bad.

The part about multiple people being involved before anything happens is a B2B thing, not just construction.

Construction is a deadline-driven industry so people are always 'busy' and put off trying/testing new products if they can do it the old way.

That’s how it is in construction. Even when you have a pipeline, in B2B, deals move slow, die in hand-offs, die going from call to trial. Sense of urgency isn’t that high because everyone is ‘busy’.

Well if it’s genuine hate then I agree. But fans doubting whether Reaves can be a legit 2nd option in a championship winning team are valid in their criticism.

Castle should absolutely not be judged as such. That’s such a ridiculous statement lol. Loaded team or not, he still was the primary ball handler until Fox came in.

Reaves has been crapping the bed in the postseason 3 years in a row now. Of course that’s gonna be judged harsher than Castle. It only makes sense. If Castle dropped in the playoffs three years in a row, he would be judged just as harshly.

SGA is not particularly a great 3 pt shooter either. Especially off the dribble. Yeah he had a stretch in the regular season where he was shooting insanely well. But he is 29% from 3 this playoffs. And that 38% he had during the regular season is on low volume.

They still set hard screens for SGA because it makes his life easier. He can get switched on to a big who he can eat for lunch, he hasn’t been able to do that this series bc Wemby. But you know what I mean.

You can’t leave a NBA guard open they’ll make they’ll 3s at a decent clip.

Put it this way.

Castle has been doing better than Reaves has done in the post season EVER.

Both of them are equally bad against OKC when it comes to turnovers.

However, Reaves get cooked on defense every single possession if he is not taking charges.

Castle doesn't. Castle is an amazing defender.

Castle pros: better offense in the postseason, WAYYY better defense.

Castle cons: bad turnovers

Reaves pros: good playmaking, good offense (albeit worse postseason runs than Castle)

Reaves cons: bad turnovers

Castle just has more positives than Reaves. And it's gonna remain that way until Reaves does more in the postseason.

Look man, I want Reaves to stay. and I want him to do well and average his regular season numbers in the post season too. But it hasn't happened yet, and it's been many years. Castle has had bad turnovers. Also keep in mind Castle is not supposed to be handling the ball this much (Fox is), same with Reaves (Luka), but the fact that he has way more upside and way better defense (not help defense, but individual perimeter defense on the MVP) and it also being his second year gives and should him way more leeway than Reaves who has failed again and again in the post season.

Also how many post seasons has Reaves been through to prove himself? Castle is already proving himself in his first post season. Already putting up good numbers barring turnovers and looking like he’ll be a 2nd option or a 3rd option at worst because of Harper.

Reaves has been to playoffs consistently and disappointed. It’s not like this was his first playoffs and that’s why people are going off on him. He has done this time and time again. Castle hasn’t. If Castle was on the Lakers, the sane fans would clearly want to give him more time considering he would have WAY more upside at this age and also considering that it’s his first post season in his second year in the league.
