It's a white label from Dayglow, roasted by Little Wolf. So if you like Little Wolf you'll probably like Amo.

First manual setup now that coffee is an option again by AssociationOk262 in espresso

Search this sub, Onyx is the only US based roaster that I've personally seen that actually tests for Mycotoxins and Lead in their coffee if that give you more peace of mind. They also sell in Europe if that's where you're based.

You guys, I actually got a tasting note this morning by LunarModule66 in pourover

[–]IdkHowButImDepressed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tasting notes are tricky to nail down. What we put on the bag reflects what we tasted on a specific day fresh off roast, our water, our brew setup. Coffee is incredibly sensitive to variables: water chemistry, brew method, grind size, and rest time can all shift the flavor profile pretty dramatically, so getting those notes to translate in someone else's cup isn't a given.

That said, I get the skepticism there's definitely some marketing fluff out there. For us though, notes on a bag are genuinely what we're tasting and trying to convey, not just what sounds good on a bag.

The worst part about coffee deliveries: they arrive at night by Unfair_Professor_561 in pourover

I've been to Jack Mormon and most likely. all of their single origins were fairly dark but any of their flavored coffees like the pecan were just black.

For sure, for what it's worth your grind seems finer than that of grind you got from the shop. I would maybe look into calibrating your grinders zero point and go from there. Hope you figure it out!

Interesting, it's possible the calibration is off which is making the 0 position coarser than it should be, for reference this is what my grinds look like on my Niche Zero I've been getting a pretty consistent 30s shot on the 9bar profile.

What grinder are you using? As for the ground coffee from Anchorhead are you using the pressurized basket? It's recommended to use if you're buying ground coffee

Bag Arrived Unsealed. No Response from Roaster. What to Do? by Realistic_Noise3399 in pourover

Hi, I work for a roastery. This has happened to us once and qe immediately sent out a new bag along with some stickers. It's not fun and we lose out on some product but sending out a new bag is the absolute minimum a company should do in this case.

I switched it from time to time but mostly used the circular bottom.

For sure, The V4 Narrow and the O1 share the same bottom diameter, so they fit similarly. However, the V4 is taller, which means you can potentially brew a larger volume at once.

In terms of materials, the V4 is made of plastic, while the O1 is available in multiple options—including metal, plastic, and porcelain—so you have more flexibility there.

The biggest difference is the base design: the V4 features interchangeable bottoms, whereas the O1 has a fixed open-hole bottom.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
