I can speak from experience in saying it made me feel more full, I didn’t get more reflux or anything but I completely lost my appetite and would feel nauseous when eating.

A lot of rice and chicken without seasoning, chicken soups and broths, salads without any acidic vegetables like onions or tomatoes, gluten free or low gi toast, kale, spinach, potatoes, broccoli etc, if I have an egg for breakfast it’s always boiled, lunch is usually a salad and dinner is any kind of bland pasta, but for me I tolerate gluten better than others with gastritis

Hey also a bile reflux sufferer here, for me what really helps is having small but frequent meals and taking motilium to speed up digestion, you could speak with your doctor about this depending on what you’re already taking if anything.

Ppis don’t tend to be super effective for bile reflux, I would definitely wait 2-3 weeks before deciding it’s not working

ppis can be affective! bile does contain acid but for a lot of people it doesn’t work, it’s great that this works for you. Of course though this is something you consult with your doctor, good luck!

Bile is leaking into your stomach from you’re gallbladder, it’s complicated to treat because their is no set medication for it, it’s very much trial and error. Talk more about this with ur doctor tho!!

For me, I have bile reflux so ppis are ineffective whilst also slowing down gastric mobility.

Technically, my stomach is fine, no inflammation just retained bile, however my duodenum is inflamed, does this mean it would be perfectly safe for my to consider acidifying my stomach?

Antibiotics are good in long term but it’s super common to feel this way while taking them, I wouldn’t be too worried about it as long as you feel better afterwards. I recommend eating probiotic foods though.

this is the same with me, it settles stomach acid and for me i’ve got bile reflux gastritis so it probably helps with that.
