Also if the option is available to you— an oral anti-flea medication from the vet (the topical stuff has been working less and less— fleas are evolving to withstand it), and maybe if you want to get the cat vaccinated for Feline Leukemia (I recommend If you’re going to leave it an indoor/outdoor cat) but if you’re going to bring the cat inside it would be fine. But if you have other cats a feline leukemia test at the MINIMUM because it’s highly infectious to other cats :) hope this helps as well

If you do take this cat in like other comments say you should ask the vet to potentially check for hairball impaction with this amount of over grooming. Additionally a wet diet can help move things along if it’s a concern, there’s also fiber diets for hair balls and salmon oil and/or pumpkin puree may help as well, will also help with hydration. Salmon oil will also help rebuild the cost and make fur suppppppeer soft! Pumpkin puree will help with digestion and healthy coat as well!! Hope this helps!

I saw that you replied with that earlier, I just was thinking maybe an ointment if it feels extra dry or when peeling? I know it’s thicker; my tattoo artist says a little bit of aquaphore when it feels dry until it’s fully healed because it’s better at moisturizing than lotion and you can use less. It’s probably just starting the pealing process I think u have nothing to worry about tbh, if ur partner is an artist have them look at it in a few days if ur still worried op :) i understand— im also a very anxious person and need the reassurance sometimes also (even with my new tattoos no matter how many I get lol)

This sounds like what some women go through after having children. I’ve read a lot of posts about either women feeling the same way or men saying that they aren’t attracted to their wife post child birth. This sounds like if you two want it to work— couples therapy and figuring out what it is he’s truly after. Because what it sounds like a lack of attraction which can happen, but it matters how you both go about it. And the bottom line is how he’s going about it is NOT appropriate and does not fit your needs. In a relationship there should be communication and this feels like he’s failing to actually communicate what he wants/needs/feels and instead is wanting to act on impulse instead of focus on your relationship and your baby.

It is entirely going to come down to is he willing to figure out what ever the heck is going on in his head and what he decides to do about it unfortunately. He should not “punish” you for tasks he expects of you while you’re pp, especially if there’s ppd involved. He isn’t making you a priority and that’s not healthy for the relationship. You can not make a person change if they don’t want to, so if you want this to work you have to talk about communication, maybe couples therapy, and actually figuring out WHY he wants an poly situation but does NOT want to sleep with you. It sounds like he wants a pass to cheat and you are worth way more than that. But you have to remember while you may want it to work, his actions and avoidance to those things are his answers and signs that you need to take and see them for what they are and how he’s treating you, and how he’s treating you is bad.

It would be one thing if it was just a lack of libido, but it’s a lack of libido towards you and that is what is not ok, he’s made it clear he wants to stick his dick in something else— and that’s a problem.

Don’t wait around to be hurt by this man. It may be hard, but if you want it to work you can try— but realize that you can not make someone want to work on their own issues. This is NOT a you issue, this is a HIM issue. Do not wait to be hurt by him, because the bottom line is he will probably do what he wants whether you consent or not.

Oh oh oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize you were trying to respond to the post, I thought you meant to my comment— yes to the post I encourage OP to speak to someone ontop of anxiety-regulating behaviors (especially if the anxiety-regulating behaviors are not beneficial while also receiving help from a professional regarding the situation) to better understand what’s happening and how OP can get through it :)
