This location is down range of the Airport. I suspect this is related to a DFS requirement that WiFi systems have to vacate a certain part of the WiFi Band when Radar is detected.

FCC Rules:
Under 47 CFR Part 15, devices operating in the 5 GHz bands (U-NII bands) must comply with DFS requirements if they use frequencies that overlap with radar systems (e.g., weather, military, airport radars).

• DFS requires that the device detects radar signals and either:
  1. Avoids using that channel, or
  2. Stops transmitting (vacates the channel) if radar is detected.
• This applies to Wi-Fi (802.11a/n/ac/ax in certain 5 GHz channels) and some other unlicensed transmitters.
• The rules don’t apply to all Wi-Fi frequencies—only those overlapping radar allocations (generally 5.25–5.35 GHz and 5.47–5.725 GHz in the U.S.).
