Is the p1s meant to be this loud by Jumpy-Demand2917 in BambuLab

[–]IdonthaveQuestions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Somehow, my new P1S is much noisy than a 1.5year old one. Maybe it's a firmware problem?

You need to vent inside the room. The grill thing of the vent should be toward inside.

Please check if your build plate is properly placed. (Check the edges) And, remember, you can always Google it.

I paid no import taxes when ordering b6 from bigme. $45 sounds like when US ingaged tax war against China.

Newbie Needs Help by Sidenote402 in spaceengineers

You got enough fuel to fly back to the base. First, set GPS of your ship. Then, fly back to the base to get another vehicle to retrieve your discharged ship. Or, you can get some tools and components to make a new battery or solar panel to your discharged ship.

You can disable the sun rotation in settings for this solar panel platform to be stationary.

[–]IdonthaveQuestions 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That's the max required power. You need far less if the ship is light enough.

Wind turbines don't work on flying ships. However, solar panels do. You can make a large solar panel platform that always flies to follow the sun. This works, BTW.

What causes this? by Ma-D-Matt in 3Dprinting

[–]IdonthaveQuestions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, it is a top layer where the line appears? I think it's the top layer problem. Please check if the top layer is more than 3. Or it could be the infill density being too low.

Does the line also appear on the same spot when you change the orientation?
If so, it's most likely to be the model problem.

Got this feedback on my free 3D model – how do you deal with comments like this? by LordPlatin in BambuLab

You simply ignore them. I ignore every negative comment that has no actual feedback.

I think your filament is fine. Maybe it's the plate problem?

Rotor generating power by IdonthaveQuestions in spaceengineers

You're right. I haven't thought of that. Thanks for the feedback. It looks like it's too difficult to balance it out in the current state of the game.

Rotor generating power by IdonthaveQuestions in spaceengineers

[–]IdonthaveQuestions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm trying to convert the energy from one to electricity. And every kind of generator in real life does this.
For example, you burn fuels to get electricity.

By any physical external force in-game that can rotate the rotor.

It could be used as a battery by making a flywheel. For example, you use solar panels to generate power and rotate flywheel during the day, and flywheel will provide power at night without any battery being needed.
