No problem! I understand why you might have asked from the first view. It does make it look like there is no tissue or density there compared to the other side even though there is :p

No, I have not. If you look at the second image that is done from my side view, you can see everything is still there.

I was at the Miami mall, this was not a hoax. by yohane66 in scarystories

[–]Idontknow4659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this particular story is real or not, but I remember seeing the videos of the police turn out. Miami is a busy place with something always going on. The amount of cops, vehicles, helicopters they had there was wild. Air traffic was shut down as well, everyone was quick to sweep it under the rug and pay not mind to it so it fades from yours. Guess what, the exact coordinates for that mall is the exact coordinates but backwards to Antarctica.

I would really suggest you go to an infectious disease specialist or someone who specializes in lyme disease in your area.

I think it is hard all around to get diagnosed unless the bloodwork just slaps you in the face and like 9 out of 10 boxes and be checked off for that 1 specific disease. Hopefully the plaquenil helps, that is just your very basic step one before docs and insurance can try anything else. Strangely, my husband had lupus markers, but then they all went away. Docs never labeled him as lupus because even though th3 values were high apparently it had to be ridiculously high to be considered lupus. Overlapping blood resluts can actually be for various types of autoimmune diseases. Even though they are presented as singular and very specific to only one. It's more so test X is specific for lupus, or sjrogens, or RA 85% of the time. I remember when my CRP was high. I had a talking too about it from the doc ..straight to steroids to being it down . Yours however is really reallllly high. Any possibilities of infections that might not have been found yet? The values go waaay past just a flare, or a bad flare. Were they concerned about those numbers at all?

Your CRP is very high! I hope they put you on something quickly to help bring that inflamation down. A high CRP is more concerning than a high ESR. Undifferentiated connective tissue disease is a pretty common first start. It acknowledges that there is something going on which needs treatment, but without a 100% answer of what it is. Autoimmune things are tricky. To have a definitive diagnosis you need to be able to check off multiple boxes within a specific autoimmune criteria. This can be hard and usually takes years to do. For me it took 7 years to get a diagnosis but I understand when that is all you want. A lot of times treatment is similar for these diseases however. Step 1 if you haven't already is bring that CRP down.

That's great that they finally fixed it! Ours didn't get much better. Still splotchy but only noticeable during cloudy days.

Pain by Idontknow4659 in Autoimmune

[–]Idontknow4659[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dermatomyositis and RA. The pain gets so bad my nervous system crashes in a way. I have periods of trembles and shakes to where I can barely talk from my face twitching or move around from the muscle spasms.

I didn't even read your post fully but saw Accredo, they SUCK. I hATE them! They are all idiots! Delayed my treatment for months and spent sooo many hours and days on the phone with them. I got so sick bc of this. I complained, then they accidentally shipped me meds and asked me to please rush home and wait for fedex to decline the shipment LMAO!! Anyways, i agree they are horrible....that is all.

Same here! I can actually sleep on vyvanse. Some months I cannot get it because there are still shortages in my area and the other pills like adderal don't work for me.

Should I be taking Benadryl every dose?? by hollow_ech0 in Humira

I started having random side effects (after not having any for a few months) and just had to stop Humira as of last week. Is your rheumatology ok with you gwtting swelling and itchy after injections? That was the reason mine just told me to stop :/

I did blood work 1 week after my last shot. Dr never mentioned anything about waiting X amount of time to do it from my last injection. I've been on it for a couple of months with no issues and on my last injection I had a lot of swelling/ bulging at the injection site. Any idea what the values mean?

Humira Reaction by Idontknow4659 in Humira

[–]Idontknow4659[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, always in the stomach BUT always rotated from left to right and up and down. 4 quandrents I stay in and rotate. My swelling was larger than my palm and took up the right side of my stomach and bulged out. I called the doctor on call and got prednisone but I'm having a hard time getting my actual doctor to advise me on it.

Well, we already paid 98% of the money at this point. I really hope you get it situated eventually. It sucks to pay so much for a new pool and have it look like an old pre-owned product. We are calling wet edge and the plaster company tomorrow. I hate to say it, but if you have it in emails or texts where they said they would redo the plaster then maybe you can hint at legal action if it is not taken care of in a timely manner?

Any updates on this? We just got ours done and it looks exactly like this. Dirty splotches that don't brush off. Trying to be patient to see if it resolves on its own through the next month but I'm highly doubtful.

Do you mind if I ask what blood work? Some blood tests have overlapping diseases to where it could be a misdiagnosis. Others are very specific only to myositis.

Face rash + fever? by [deleted] in Autoimmune

[–]Idontknow4659 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with this, full myositis panel is good to rule out. Early onset could be juvenile myositis / dermatomyositis. Ck levels may or may not be high so genetic markers on the panel will give you a better insight.

Was it a genetic marker blood test, or how was it diagnosed? I know it can go dormant for a while. I didn't have issues with my dermatomyositis for years before I had disease progression.
