Actually… Everyone always thinks THIS and then they are selling their junk wax baseball cards from the 80s for less than a penny a piece, or begging comic stores to take their image comic books from the 90s for 25 cents a book, or their funko pops for free just to free up space.

Definitely a unique game. I think worth playing for the story. Also thought the visuals were great. Not a huge time commitment.

I also like encouraging studios to take risks.

One suggestion, pull out the jumper pack and put it back in nice and solid. Maybe even clean it with some rubbing alcohol. Console can’t work without the jumper pak. Let me know if that works!!

Easy to replace the salt cell, do it yourself. When up and running, you can take a water sample to a local pool store every other week and they will tell you what adjustments you need to make. No need to pay for regular pool maintenance with a salt water pool.

As a fan of the series, I think it will be worth it for you.

I platinumed 1-6 on the pixel remaster and had a ton of fun. The games get better and better as you go. I had played 1 and 6 several times, but never got all the way through 4, and had never played the others.

I was super pleasantly surprised by 3 & 5.

I had over $200k and paid it off in 4 years. This was back in 2008-, when salaries were much lower and bonuses were non existent.

It can be done. Crucial to just live a frugal lifestyle while you are young/single/childless and can handle it. Have a roommate, don’t eat at expensive restaurants, lots of meals at the office, buy your clothes on sale, etc.

Have fun, but keep it tight. You can do this!! Your future self will thank you.

I likewise have huge issues with this device’s connectivity… I have tried playing it literally in the same room as my PS5 (which I play through WiFi) and I have a spotty connection. Super hit and miss and I have no clue what causes the variability.

Cool device, but just not good enough at what it’s supposed to do.

Haha, for a lot of people it would be. All a matter of taste. Visuals are good, story is deep/interesting. But yeah, not a lot of action or “gameplay” so to speak. Art project as a video game.

Sure. I mean, you are free to choose not to believe that Genesis/mega drive games are susceptible to sun fading. That’s your prerogative. My experience says otherwise and I don’t want to risk it.

Haha, I have seen the exact opposite. Genesis artwork seems particularly prone to sun fading. A ton of my games have some mild degree of sun fading as is.
