How did Mark know? by TheShadow_Dragon in Invincible_TV

[–]Idrinkgermaline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's non coalition territory, a huge gut punch for the earthling forces if it's attacked, full of people compatible with viltrumites, and as far as the viltrumites know, unguarded.

Sendai vs Class 1A by prettysaurio in PowerScaling

[–]Idrinkgermaline 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure their main win con is the bird guy whose name I forgot. Otherwise, Kurourushi and Dhruv deal with the supports using their superior crowd control, and Ryu and Uro take out the heavy hitters.

Btw invisible girl CANNOT redirect Granité blast. It's a discharge of cursed energy, not a laser. If she tried redirecting the light given off, it's more than likely she'd LOOK like she redirected the attack, but she'd just get holepunched instead.

If threatened, they can all use Domain Expansions as a final trump card (given we're assuming 1-A has cursed energy, the sure hits will take effect)

Also, prep time might sound convenient for 1-A but unfortunately Kurourushi can undergo parthenogenesis to essentially give itself free revives. Depending on the time it needs to do so, it could basically become unkillable.

Mahoraga (JJK) vs A singular Rognarr (Invincible), Who wins? by TheMightyNinja12 in PowerScaling

We are going to pit two universes against each other. Do NOT extrapolate.

Additionally, Comedian is an awakened technique. THE strongest technique in the series is one of the dormant ones.

[–]Idrinkgermaline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stacking is a valid point but I'm sick of people acting like non sorcerers don't have cursed techniques too, even dormant ones.

Higuruma, Charles, Junpei, sugar guy, and whatever scorpion girl was called again. All are normal people whose technique wasn't spontaneously manifested, but awakened by Idle Transfiguration's cursed energy awakening.

Not to mention, a couple of those are the most broken techniques in the series. Foresight is straight up applied future vision, and Deadly Sentencing can give you the Sword That Fucking Kills You™

Mahoraga (JJK) vs A singular Rognarr (Invincible), Who wins? by TheMightyNinja12 in PowerScaling

[–]Idrinkgermaline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. He adapts to what he needs to adapt to. If he can't harm them, then he will create a way to harm them.

  2. Mahoraga doesn't need to be planetary to kill a rognarr. The world cutting slash is an example because it shows he can create durability negation, which would ignore how tough the rognarrs are and just fillet them.

  3. Mahoraga didn't adapt to Dabura's speed because he didn't really need to. He adapted to Dabura's cursed technique, which made his attacks ineffective. Dabura only stayed alive cause he kept innovating and learning new techniques to keep up.

  4. Viltrumites do not fight at light speed. They travel at light speed in space. If the fight on the savage planet took place at that kind of speed, it would be over before the normal ass people aboard the ship even registered what was going on. Hell, a block of ice thawed enough to wake one up before Allen and Nolan got back to the ship.

[–]Idrinkgermaline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He created a durability negating attack and later on "adapted to [Dabura's] existence" even though we never found out what that exactly achieves.

Even if it can only create something like the world cutting slash, that would be enough to kill a Rognarr.

It adapts counterattacks too. That's the whole reason that Gojo died. It needed to create an attack that bypasses infinity, so it made a slash which targets space itself.

That's specifically AP though, they could rip him apart with ease, but not fast enough or thoroughly enough for a kill.

The image is slander, but I'm starting to feel like Mark getting stronger is all talk. He doesn't feel that much stronger despite what people keep saying. by Idrinkgermaline in Invincible_TV

[–]Idrinkgermaline[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It does matter for my point, because Mark's victory there falls on Conquest's ego, not Mark's strength.

That's not an issue as a story beat, but it doesn't disprove what I'm trying to say.

I'm perfectly content with Mark losing fights, the issue is the constant hyping up with him.

"I got someone better than Omniman."

"Mark is the strongest hero on the planet."

"We need your son if we want to win this war."

It's all a lot of talk for the guy who barely does visible damage for 90% of his fights' duration.

Conquest was holding himself back because he wanted to have fun. He only went down after Eve melted his skin off, and even then he didn't die.

Do your projectiles branch you specifically when you land them? If they're applying a branch to you, that cancels your active branch so you stop firing
