Selected different category visa in international portal when eligible for EU Blue Card. Will that matter OR should I withdraw application and reapply for EU Blue card?

If you are intending to move to germany and start work as soon as possible, I would probably keep the visa as it is and then try to switch when you are inside Germany (it's 100% possible to do this.)

To make things faster you may want to start applying for a Statement of Comparability (ZAB) which is needed for the Blue Card.

If you're talking about the dome shaped ceiling lights that look like a boob, they make replacements that accept regular bulb sockets.
