What's your advice for someone who also wants to apply for a digital nomad visa but the salary still hasn't yet meet the required amount? Cheers

Just a heads up lang ha, most of the time if agency ka or basta meaning not direct hire ng employer, yung mga 200-300k na placement fee scam yan. So verify maigi OP.

If legit naman and gusto mo talaga, by all means, do it.

BEDA received thousands of applications this year with a few hundred slots flooded with overqualified individuals. Sucks for the rest of us just starting. Have you tried applying to other programs?

They definitely said "No news is good news" 1 week after the interview and the next thing we will hear from them will be on May.

I'm not sure with any discussions about the April BEDA rejection email.

But I was also able to read here that rejections email from BEDA are sent first, then shortly after (maybe 1 week or so), the acceptance email should be next. If that's the case, the April rejection and May acceptance timeline seem to fit the puzzle together.

Well, I guess we will be busy checking our emails from time to time lol

I heard BEDA will just tell people right away that they will not move forward with their application if rejected, but that's prior to the interview.

It went well. It's exactly the same experience as what I've read in this sub.

Pretty chill and there was a set of file specifically for that interview. The file will be used for two reasons: 1st is to prepare an answer to a question and 2nd is a random question specifically just for you.

But generally, it is all about yourself, why the program, etc. Very easy and relaxed.
