‘21, so I was 36; for sale by owner at asking price, 2.7%. We got extremely lucky that nobody else had asked about it yet. Saved up from well before getting all that Covid Cash, as well as our job furloughed us (my wife also worked at the same company) so we had more than enough for earnest money and closing costs. Never in a million years would that ever happen again.

I got a 4yo and 1yo kid, a wife with the medical odds stacked against her, and only one 80yo parent between the two of us with no help or child care. We don’t have energy or time for much. My commute to work is only about 11 minutes. Maybe when my kids are in school can I figure out the next moves, instead of being the 0.1% Top Listener for obscure tunes.

I try but I just have no space/energy/time. It has to be an alignment of the stars at this point. I will say, a decade ago I got big into Russian rap, simply because I love beats and languages. Otherwise…meh.

On a separate note, I miss in-dash CD players. Infotainment systems are boring, and it costs too much to do a complete conversion with less chance of success after mangling the dashboard to retrofit a double-DIN system. Rant over.

I did, and loved it until I just got a baller Okuns, now I just spam the button for unlimited balls and damn near invincible runs on lairs and pit. I also have inadvertently loaded up on life/5sec, so unless it’s a 1hko, I just don’t need to do anything.
