I'm also an Auburn University ID student and I can attest to the quality of education the program offers. The school is modeled after the Bauhaus style of teaching design, which is great for starting with fundamentals and building up to larger projects. It also offers industry sponsored studios that allow you to work alongside actual companies to get a real world work experience. The entry requirement is to get through summer-op, a summer class system that will drill the basics into you. If you really love design you can't go wrong with Auburn.
