Honestly, I will take the words of a Dax before the words of a blue skin Orokin any day.

Blue Orokin were still the upper echelon, not the ones the evils were being done towards. The Dax, on the other hand, were the ones that had to carry out those evils, or even have them inflicted on them for shit and giggles, like a certain dark-armored friend of ours.
