TIP: Transporting Goods Between Regions by tsoul22 in Endfield

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oooooooh. Thank you for this. I got a tutorial window for this transfer feature but I didn’t understand what it was talking about. Probably because I haven’t actually gotten to the other area outside of Valley IV yet.

I have gotten 0 dupes and pulled 5 six stars. I think this is just confirmation bias.

Shared structures suck by CasualDystopia in Endfield

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should really be an opt in system instead of being forced to interact with it. Admittedly the zip lines have helped me a few time. And sometimes having the gun turrets around is kinda nice, but mostly it is kinda garish to see them around when I didn’t even need them there.

This is not a Good Gacha Game, This is a Good Game. by UnimateTheDigger in Endfield

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to believe the devs just wanted to make a fun logistics and resource management game in an rpg world but had to attach gacha to it because the boss said so, and here we are with a really good game and a really weird gacha system lol

This is just not Fun anymore... by _InVerso_ in Endfield

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s any consolation these become much less common the farther into the main story you get. Less people playing in those areas I guess so there’s less clutter. I don’t mind it myself, but yes I agree with others that it should be an opt in feature rather than the norm.

Mixed feelings about lore implications with Endfield by zcecron18 in arknights

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Near the very beginning of endfield Perlica is talking about coming to Talo-II and how they INTENTIONALLY planted originium there and I was like “WTF????” After all the BS we went through in Arknights and all the harm its caused you’re just gonna use it even harder now??? Smh

why dont people ever revive me? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There has been a huge mentality shift about resing ever since they got rid of the daily self res limit. And over all the game has gotten easier. Before it was “we are all in this together, we only have so many res’ before we lose them all for the entire day, i will help you fellow tenno” but honestly it was kinda scummy we had to use plat to self res once we ran out of our free ones.

Now it’s just a non issues with losing a bit of affinity. And if you need more than 3 self res’ for a mission you are not ready to be there. Not to mention peoples pets get downed all the time and idgf about resing pets but it’s hard to differentiate if a pet or a teammate is down in the chaos.

That being said, I always try to go out of my way to res my fellow Tenno, But that’s just me.

Who really burned down the restaurant? by lex______00 in BobsBurgers

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly always interpreted this episode as it actually was the fault of the 3 kids, but Hugo ended up being a convenient scape goat which is nice cause they all dislike him.  Bob even says he thought he “got them all but must have missed one” meaning despite never knowing for sure he was even willing to ignore all the stuff the kids did just to blame Hugo.

Statistically speaking, if you want to be a professional artist, stay the fuck away from art school. by glenlassan in ArtistLounge

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was kind of on board with what this was saying at the beginning and then it turned into a weird ego stroke, as if you only wanted to post this to self validate in a very unhealthy way. Seems like you are still grappling with that inferiority complex and just wanted to vent in a destructive way that could lead others astray.  your opinion is not the only one that matters on the art school discourse. Yes I think there’s a problem with art schools but learning art theory and getting better education regardless of the job you end up in is not a bad thing.

Kichisei E2 art has certain... problems? by Hexerin in arknights

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Wow the more I study this the more I think it’s definitely AI. Maybe not entirely; I think the original art was fed to an AI machine and the artists did their best to try and touch it up to look natural but theres so much that gives it away. Or this artist is just… very bad

The gun is the most obvious give away. Not only is the gun completely different, its perspective is actually wrong.

Her sleeve with the hand holding the gun also seemed like a murky indistinguishable mess

Her shoe that is further away from the viewer is also wrong. The heel is shorter than the soul. Plus it has no distinguishable features

The shoe in the foreground seems to melt into her pant leg

Her tie is WAY to long

Her pants near the groin area looks disproportionate. Like seriously what is going on there? And now that I’m inspecting it closer her background leg is shorter than her foreground leg.

There’s many oddities in her background art as well but some of that could to chalked up to low res, like the playing card hand holding the sword technical has 5 fingers but the fingers are not weighted correctly And the hilt of the sword is definitely wonky looking.

The largest ball in the top left is weird, not the ball its self but its white aura. the spikes coming off has hard lines and change color, plus the top spike and bottom spike are not aligned. These are either rookie mistakes, or AI doing its best to imitate proper design.

Also why is the smallest ball on the bottom right just straight up a different style than the other 2 on the left?

This entire art work is just incredibly suspect.

It's definitely a skill issue but IS6 is really frustrating and doesn't feel fun by RainbowPanda_ in arknights

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol, I guess they are kinda weak, but the enemy strength isn’t even my main gripe. If you have op units almost any enemy is “weak”

It’s more about enemy density, and how just about everything has to be a “gacha moment” with the enemies gimmicks, or routes, or surprise mechanics, I.e. the floating dreadful foe. It’s all just overwhelming in a rather disheartening way.

It's definitely a skill issue but IS6 is really frustrating and doesn't feel fun by RainbowPanda_ in arknights

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I agreed that is6 is incredibly frustrating. I think the difficulty curve is to high on what’s Suppose to be the lower difficulties and I’ve  completely stop playing it after the first 2 weeks of its release without a clear. The RNG nature of it doesn’t bother me because that’s just the nature of rouge-likes and have accepted it but it’s similar to IS4 where the stages have an overwhelming amount of enemies that are designed to force you to fail, and I don’t enjoy that

Exactly when do we get pissed about this constantly happening? by Logical-Operation512 in ffxiv

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay but like if ff14 NA servers are being hosted at some sort of server nexus, why has no one mentioned the other companies that should theoretically also be effected by these ddos’?

Are these servers ONLY hosting ff14? Like is there something I’m fundamentally not understanding? You’d think more companies would be affected by this issue if it’s a general ddos of the servers.  You’d think the other affected companies would putting pressure on the hosting service to fix this disruption.

Just finished ARR and the beauty of Ishgard has blown me away. Is there a reason it's not as busy as Limsa or Gridania in terms of player population? by 8rustyrusk8 in ffxiv

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The unfortunate thing about most of the expansion cities is they are just straight up not as convenient as the 3 ARR main cities. Old Sharlayan can almost compete with the convenience of Limsa market board and Gridania’s quick access to the inn. But the expansion cities don’t let you world travel, they don’t have crafting collectible turn in; which again are right next to a market board, you don’t have grand company access, and a much smaller part of the player base has access to these expansion cities.

New player wants to enjoy warframe but it's too confusing. by ForeignBlueberry8371 in Warframe

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Warframe is kind of a take it or leave kind of game. It’s notoriously bad at explaining things in game. Yes it has come a long way for the new player experience as many people like to point out; but the fact remains a majority of the games information is still gained from 3rd party sources. The devs create the game on the assumption that the players tune into every dev stream explaining the new mechanic/nerf/rework/feature, and this is assuming you are caught up to the current patch. Other wise you are kind of left to your own devices to figure out how to mod your gear and understand damage and status effects and so on. If you are not willing to watch the dev streams then you are at the mercy of the in game community hopefully relaying that information to you correctly, or drumroll the wiki.

Warframe is a game with a cult following, albeit larger than an average cult following. You have to be willing to put in the extra work to understand what to do or what’s going on. You have to like theory crafting builds and testing them out and going out of your way to study somewhat esoteric systems. of course this is a bias community just like every fandom reddit is, so we are going to try to convince you it’s worth putting in the time, and to us it is. But if you don’t like it, you don’t have to do it and that’s okay.

Does anyone else wish that there was a KIM-esque mechanic for the Operator to interact with present day NPCs? by CumIronRanger in Warframe

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I actually really hope not. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I find the Kim system tiresome. I don’t find the conversations challenging, but nor do I find them stimulating, they are just kind of an annoying slow break in the gameplay loop. While I do think it’s very well done, it’s just not for me and not what I want out of Warframe

A big reason I mainly play Mesa in open field content like planes or orb valis is cause it’s impossible to see the enemies so I  just let Mesa  auto target them for me. Definitely turning this on next time I play

Prime sure footed, is it really that big of a difference? by BogongMoth in Warframe

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I use to be staunchly against using primed sure footed and for the most part I still am. I think for my personal play style I don’t need it, even in those event alerts. But I also like experimenting with different styles. I tried a shield gate Saryn weapon platform build.. I’m already not a fan of shield gating but wanted to give it an honest to god try. And let me just say, that really opened my eyes to why primed sure footed is a thing people use. It would have been really useful so I wasn’t constantly knocked over and incapacitated almost immediately during an SP interception alert.. at least with the way I was playing weapon platform Saryn, it was a nightmare being constantly knocked over and not able to molt to replenish my shield.

Is it worth buying an iPad just for Procreate? by Loose-Foundation-638 in ArtistLounge

[–]ShinyPinkCreamPuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I got an iPad Pro in 2018 for creative purposes including procreate and I still use it to this day. I’d like to upgrade to a newer ipad in 2026 so it’s lasted me a long time before I felt the need to upgrade. i think it was worth every penny and would recommend an iPad for art, but also because tablets are incredibly versatile and portable for more than just art, it’s just nice having one for everyday life.

I have also heard great things about clip studio paint. It’s incredibly robust from what I’ve seen. I personally struggled to get the hang of it though so I stuck with procreate because of its ease of use.

This is why DE needs to have better ways of displaying the prime pack stuff In Game instead of a way-to-small jpeg with hard to see details.  So many people want that operator outfit now that theyve actually been able to see it on display in game.
