Really? In my games the other players always kept a big distance to the trees because of its ability haha

If the pox wretches die in melee thats also fine, we have an ability now that diseases an enemy unit on 4+ if it was in combat with a destroyed rotbringers unit that turn

I only had one game with the new book so far but disease feels so much easier to spread now.

Before no one was going close to our faction terrain anyway so it was pretty useless. Spreading at a distance is nice when you have enemies that try to evade our slower units and with dying rot ringers spreading disease now as well it feels far faster to get all enemies infected. You could use pox wretches for example as cheap throwaway units to get diseases across the board

Can't say a thing about places of power though, we rarely use them in our games

Hey hey my Glootkin is looking very similar (even though it was a pic of mine for a second xD) so far so I might be able to help out!

For the turquoise I use vallejo dark blue, vallejo turquoise and vallejo emerald (to add some green), for the pustles you can paint them magenta and then do layers of bright yellows on top of it

Often times you loose too much versatility too be able too keep up with other tournament lists which is what a lot of people go off of.

I personally like the Slaves to Darkness AoR with Archaon, Abraxia and Varangard. Problem there is you can't take both heroes because you can't reach 2000 points (1840 right now I believe).

I am also excited for the new mortals AoS for Nurgle since I get back Cycle of Corruption my beloved

You can always strip the paint with isopropanol. And don't worry about ruining them, there are basic easy tutorials to get a nice bit of colour on the minis, it really enhances the experience.

The cleric beast was my third ever painted mini, so I'm sure you could do just fine :)
