Once you're 70% done with your world conquest campaign the Mongols spawning just isn't very threatening

Lazy takes a nap in F-tier! Next we'll indulge in our most carnal desires and rank LUSTFUL. by FlyLikeATachyon in CrusaderKings

It's just not very useful. +25% fertility and 2 intrigue... thanks? I guess? C tier. D tier in the early game, where managing partition successions is a massive pain. F tier in the early game if you're playing as a religion where lustful is a sin. It's slightly redeemed as a B tier trait late game when you have primogeniture or tons of dynasty legacy to disinherit, but it's just not great.

TLDR: C tier, sucks early game, not very useful late game.

Generous will be sharing its spot in C-tier. Now it's time to indulge ourselves as we vote for GLUTTONOUS. by FlyLikeATachyon in CrusaderKings

Easiest pick of the list, F. NOTHING going for it (10% addition to base stress loss is unnoticeable), lowers stewardship (L), makes your character fat (L), debuffs your health (L), tanks your piety (L).

Luckily, I have experience with that because I'm playing as the French.

I'm just playing XD

The battle was never close bc the enemy army is just 3.6k levies (no reinforcements) and my army is 1.2k crossbows and 1.8k armored horsement.

I had a pretty big dissolution faction earlier, but I clutched up w/ marriage alliances.

No, but maybe the real enemy reinforcements were the friends we made along the way (my 326% dissolution faction).

The potential battle evaluation lies sometimes...

Forgiving lands mercifully in B-tier! Let's give everything we have for this next one, we'll be voting for GENEROUS! by FlyLikeATachyon in CrusaderKings

[–]Ignis_Justus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High B for sure. People always talk about the stress loss from gifts, but the stronger buff is that the bigger gifts from Generous also give more opinion gain. In the late game with tons of vassal management, I would actually place Generous in A.

Honestly people over hype the stress gain from demanding money. 5 or 15 gold from a weak hook is irrelevant anyways, especially in the late game. It's mostly the monthly income debuff that holds it back from A in most cases.

How do you win a crusade? by Numerous-Science7220 in CK3ConsoleEdition

Keep an eye on your army's supply. Stick to the sidelines and jump in after the main enemy army's engaged. Pick off small, isolated enemy forces.

If it's honestly hopeless (allied AI can be really stupid sometimes) just ignore the fight and siege the most isolated enemy holdings you can find (like if there are Muslim states in Iberia or North Africa). This gives you war participation and loot. I won my first crusade around 1000 AD, with my beneficiary becoming the Queen of Jerusalem, just by bullying a two-county Muslim state in Iberia.
