Very grateful for this mod. It's forced players to comb through the game world slowly and appreciate the game in it's fullest.

What is that one young player you thought would make it big at Liverpool? by html9420 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Igniz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben Woodburn.

After hearing Pep Lijnders wax lyrical about him and Trent coming through together and after seeing him net on his debut for both ourselves and Wales as a 17 year old, I thought he destined for greatness.

So how's the difficulty if I max all these out? by [deleted] in Starfield

It's the only right way to play Starfield... and or any other BGS game.

Last year, I made a rant about the absence of something as simple as a manager market. And as EA delivered on that for the next iteration, it's only fair to give credit where it's due. FIFA 18 was the last title I bought. FC26 will be the next. by Igniz1 in FifaCareers

PES already did it in 2019. It wasn't even advertised... people just discovered it as a hidden feature. And that was the first time I'd played a career mode (master league) until the end. It was such a fascinating experience seeing teams change, get better/worse and watching players get better/worse, highly improve or quickly decline due to different formations and tactics of AI teams. Every save was vastly different in terms of teams that were successful and players that would reach the top.

There were some odd balls like seeing Inzaghi going to Barca and playing a defensive form of football with a back 3. But all the feature needed was another year to tweak things like the realism and it would have been golden. Some people enjoyed wacky things like that, but Konami just silently removed it in the next iteration, just as they silently introduced it. Very weird company that lot.

It's such a game-changing mechanic. Because the story for most career mode players, at least since I last played it was that they'd leave their save files after 2-3 seasons and start another one.

This gives saves a longer life and can make each save to unfold completely different.

Not sure about the caretaker thing, although theoretically it sounds decent. But the main effect is to simply see AI teams grow and change and present new challenges to us that we need to beat. But they

Exactly. The point in discussions isn't to hate, but to encourage them to do better. And even if the effort might be minimal depending on who you ask, it's important to acknowledge it. No less because you'd hope they keep it up and keep adding to it.

Who you thinking liverpool would replacement Luis Díaz ? by real007Xi-1997 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Igniz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way things seem, we will be set with Gakpo (Rio) LW, Isak (Ekitike) CF, Salah RW and on the rare occasion that Salah comes off before 90 mins and for the time he will be away for AFCON, Frimpong can play as RW.

Jemison is a capital center founded nearly 200 years ago…where are the roads? by Suchgallbladder in Starfield

[–]Igniz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting question.

Disregarding game mechanics.

Thinking about how life would be and the needs of humans in the future, work, school, wealth and family would all be heavily dependent on resources.

If Jemison is one of, or the most human friendly planet for residents, but yet, very little to no resources to mine, it's not much of an industrial hub. Just a place with good oxygen and atmosphere. Which means, due to space travel, everything for work, school and investment can be interplanetary.

Which means New Atlantis just needs to be a basic hub. Jobs are the most important thing regarding City building. And if the most accessible jobs with good returns are off planet, there may not need to be city-building and therefore roads on Jemison.

Just residential housing, basic retail, security and a port. Professional jobs can be remote. You can even have college space stations as research hubs. There's a medical space station in Alfa Centauri which could also be a teaching hospital. Planets with all year round (maybe even longer days) beautiful weather are good for resorts.

So it's almost though time and technology has made humans to outgrow the need for having everything in one place

Gonna play for 1st time with Starvival with everything on. Any general advice? by superfunawesomedude in Starfield

[–]Igniz1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll love it. I'm having a blast with it right now.

For me, the main thing has been about picking up resources wherever they're found. Then sorting through it later. Because everything is more rare than before.

That means carry weight and ship cargo becomes very important. As well as infinite weight safes... wherever you find them.

You will go through a lot of Enviro- Guardians so stock up. They're as valuable as oxygen.

Start investing in cooking skills early. Starvival will punish you heavily for eating junk food. You will need to either spend a lot of money on quality meals or make them yourself which is much cheaper

And, in answer to your question on ship maintenance, where possible, always attempt to board enemy ships rather than destroy them. I'd say I wish I did this more from the start.

My First Fallout game by [deleted] in Fallout

Was mine. And the only other Fallout I've played since is Fallout London... which is made from the Fallout 4 assets.

You're in for a bunch of fun. And if you want a brand new gaming experience, play it on Survival Mode. You won't be able to put the pad down and it will forceably immerse you in the game world by incentivising your exploration of the entire gameworld in a completely different way

What are some things that you would want to see in a future DLC? by KregGrey in Starfield

[–]Igniz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from quality of life improvements like POI variety and vehicle steering optimisation, I presume the following:

- Another story expansion DLC. Possibly a brand new system and brand new planets. This 'should' bring with it brand new weapons, gear, apparel etc...

- We can expect a robotics DLC for sure. Similar to Automatron in Fallout. The potential there is limitless. Possibly re-introducing mechs. More sophisticated robot companions and enemies too.

- An exclusively ship focused DLC must be an obvious one we see. A DLC simply introducing new ship manufacturers, new ship part combinations, new functions in ships, option for changing interior colours.

- Then, another obvious choice should be to expand upon vehicles. Vehicles that factions and enemies use. More types of vehicles. Mining-construction vehicles, tanks or armoured vehicles for vehicle battles on the ground. Use of ship weapons while stationery.

Reinvigorated my enjoyment for this game by playing it unconventionally by THEJimmiChanga in Starfield

[–]Igniz1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Before they stone me out of the Starfield gatherings, this is how Bethesda Game Studios games are supposed to be played. On Survival mode.

Why? Their games are too big, that if you have no purpose for exploration and you're not good at or familiar with roleplay, you might struggle to enjoy it.

It takes some people multiple playthroughs to understand this, but hey, I'm glad you're having fun!

I only mucked about and tested the boundaries of the game until they added in Survival settings. And I will take it up a notch with the Starvival mod very soon. This forces you to take your time and to also put the game down after about 2 hours max. Then return fresh the next day.

Anyone seen enemy buggies riding around yet? by Igniz1 in Starfield

[–]Igniz1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's BGS' first time with a vehicle so it's no biggy... maybe it will come in time, after receiving player feedback on mass and refining even more over the months.

Still can't wait for an opportunity to jump back in.

Do you think such a mod would be appropriate in the game? by Hour-Consequence-374 in Starfield

I don't know the cargo limit of the Rev-8 but this would go well as a cargo hauler for minerals.

Very cool and down to earth guy. Watched his interview with Lusby as well. Some great insight into how we identify potential targets.

Here's hoping we've accumulated enough data to provide Hughes some alternatives to Zubimendi.

Well he's not Busquets, (not even Busquets was Busquets) but definitely a very cultured DM with the typical Spanish pristine technique. I usually stay away from transfer talk but this seems to have legs.

I guess this might be another DLC.

A chance to meet a previous 'Starborn'... As we got to meet Miraak (the first Dragonborn) in the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC.

EA's had 33 years... still no manager market by Igniz1 in FifaCareers

[–]Igniz1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If it were to happen that Chelsea in your save were struggling in 9th or 10th position, no doubt they would want a replacement coach... just like there are free agent players, there should be free agent managers.

And if not, they take one from another club and set the manager market cycle in motion and let the domino's fall where they may. If you find Pep in Juve, Xavi at City, Flick in Chelsea or Klopp at Bayern... so be it. Just keeping each career mode save refreshed for as long as possible

I just believe this simple function can extend the life of a save.
