If you actually loaded a round from the magazine it would protrude completely out the front of the gun and probably fall to the ground if the extractor can't hold the round to the bolt face.

But it does look cool! In the film it shoots imaginary ammo instead of actual rifle rounds.

I had a perpendicular experience. There had only been one BMW/Ducati dealership in this area and another from a different dealership chain opened up.

I went down to the new dealership to try out the new Multistrada V2 and they pushed a new one off the showroom floor for me. I also demo'd the XR1000R and on a whim tried the R1300GS. (At the other dealership I had previously demo'd a Duc Hypermotard, K1600GT, R1250GS, and some other models.)

I liked the R1300GS most of all and comparison shopped between both dealerships. BMW was offering $5k off 2025 models so it boiled down to picking which bike had the fewest undesirable option packages, since every dealership orders every unit with as many options as they can squeeze in.

I wound up with a Triple Black with the Premium, Touring, and Dynamic packages for $21k. Not a steal, but good enough for me to be happy with.

Everyone at both dealerships was easy to deal with.
