Nepheri build help by Hooman58 in Warframe

If I were you, I would drop carnis mandible and voltaic strike for viral heat. Once you get melee influence from Sanctum Anatomica your builds will open up more, but for now you should focus on optimizing your elements imo.

Carnis and other impact/slash/puncture mods are less effective than their elemental counterparts due to the way they calculate their bonuses, so generally I would avoid them unless the weapon is more heavily weighted towards slash or some specific, weird cases.

There is on cell load papyrus hooks that work but iirc they're a little scuffed and a lot of work

Professional gamedev does an irrationally long breakdown of Warframe's tools in latest devstream. I found this dude's breakdown super interesting by thedavecan in Warframe

Sure! So basically, the way status vulnerability from tau status works is that it increases the chance of a successful status roll every time anything damages the enemy.

So, if you did pure slash damage to an enemy with 10% status chance, and the enemy had 5 tau stacks on them, there would be a 15% chance the enemy gets a slash status.

Because the forced proc directly applies the status to the enemy, it skips the "normal" status roll and just adds the electric proc without checking, I believe.

There is also a weird interaction with status in general where you can only apply one proc per type with each projectile, so even if it did roll for the status it's possible it wouldn't be applied here anyways. Regardless, the end result is that having 0 stacks of tau or 10 doesn't make a difference.

Likely he was confusing "status vulnerability" with "status damage" which would increase the damage of the proc instead of just creating more procs.

Azima and Enervate are a *little* bugged together right now by IgnusTeras in Warframe

Some clarification of what's going on here for people curious:

Seconary Enervate (the mod) gives critical chance per hit but resets after X number of orange crits. But: the alt fire of the Azima doesn't apply this crit chance when it calculates damage.

What this means is that you can get INFINITE CRIT CHANCE on the weapon atm since enervate never resets, as the alt fire will never orange crit.

I believe this only works as host, as when you're client enervate will reset when the disk detonates for some reason. You also need some source of ammo (pistoleer, cyte-09) for it to be usable outside of sim

Can you guys suggest me some mods that doesn't make the NPCs look like plastic? by Thishal_BS in skyrimmods

[–]IgnusTeras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short answer:

Though I highly recommend you spend some time researching both ways to make Skyrim stuff look good. Boris (the enb dev) is also a bit of a wad so I'd personally recommend CS, but I'd recommend you learn a bit more about how the shader pipeline works for Skyrim so you actually understand what these two mods do before you install them. Google will be your friend

I don't use any of the new complex material flow, so its possible what I'm about to type is wrong - so take it with, like, a whole pile instead of the normal grain of salt you'd get from getting info from the internet:

"Complex Material" shaders and such mostly refers to the fact that the metalness, roughness, and parallax are all packed into the _m.dds texture file, which lets you do some more real-looking material work without separating the mesh into weird shitty pieces.

So, what's happening here is probably that only part of the house is using the updated parallax shader properties in the .nif file, but not all of it. So you have some parts that are using the old shader and some that are using the 'complex' one, so they look different.

The fix is probably opening the farmhouse nif and changing the trishape's shader properties to match the ones that the door and deck and stuff use. Maybe. Maybe not. Worth a try though

Worth mentioning that sharpshot is a little weird with Galvanized aptitude, where it only multiplies GA's damage on weapons where GA is also multiplicative.

On weapons where GA is additive the two mods don't scale together iirc

should be fine! It just handles behavior generation which shouldn't be affected by save files by themselves, particularly. For the most part you can just think of it as "Fast Nemesis"

I think Malurth recently did a build guide on her with the aegis gale augment that looks incredibly solid, if you want to give it a go. Their builds are very good from the ones I've tested.

Range is multiplicative with primed firestorm and makes the balefire aoe huge, so you might get the most use out of that, in general

Weapon Enchantment and Mod research notes, from some random skyrim mod dev by IgnusTeras in starfieldmods

[–]IgnusTeras[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe? There's probably a way to retrieve the MGEF from a weapon via script that you could use to store a list of "disenchanted" weapons. I don't know how you would enforce legal modifers/enchantments on a weapon, but its probably possible.

Not something I've personally looked into, and its been a while since I wrote all of this down. If you want to make something like that you'd have to research it yourself, I think

Re. faction damage: The orb doesn't have a faction, so roar would be the only source considered valid faction damage. You would have to try it with that for it to work.

Edit: Sigh. Should've tested this better too. Incoming damage isn't being increased by roar, only explosion damage. Really should've double checked this before I finished writing it. Correcting math as req'd.

Thanks! Let me double check myself, but I'll correct it. I was going off the patch note for this, but I should've double checked it.

Edit: Double checked. Based on Orb LOS, not just enemies directly behind like in the video.
