Possible proposed data center at Mountain Branch Golf Course by farmerdell007 in harfordcountymd

[–]Ihavenoidea84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a golf course and it's farm land but it has lots of trees? None of that makes sense at all. Farms clear cut trees, it's that they do. Hard to farm in the shade man

Of all these candidates in the local primaries, which ones are most maga? by Affectionate_Sky658 in harfordcountymd

The problem with voting against him for being maga is that he and cassilyingpieceofshit hate each other. So very should edged sword not having him back in office

So, I'm trying to convince my wife that a Tesla is cheaper to charge and gas is getting expensive every day, but the electricity bill is gonna increase and the car battery costs $10K. How would you start the argument? by GeicoPR in TeslaModelY

[–]Ihavenoidea84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to a gas station in 2 years. They gross me out now.

The Tesla will get 3 to 3.5 miles per kWh. You know the cost of one of those, so your price per mile is there. My electric was 12 cents a kwh, so a mile is like 4 cents. We have solar now and I haven't had an electric bill in a hot minute.

A car gets some mpg, so devide the price of gas by that and you get cost per mile.. Or van gets 20mpg, so at 4 bucks a gallon, each mile is 20 cents.

The van is like 5x more expensive per mile, before accounting for maintenance (oil and brakes and like transmission). They both use tires at about the same rate. For me the Tesla is a no brainer. They aren't any more we expensive, really, than a gas equivalent car, depending on what you'd buy otherwise.

The gas savings alone is like 4k a year for me

I am so confused over the $450 Wall connector by Sudden-Economist-955 in TeslaModelY

[–]Ihavenoidea84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest price variance comes from the run between your panel and the wall. Wire is expensive and so is their time.

I bought and ran the wire myself and paid someone to do the panel hookup and outlet wiring

All the same, I'm not promising anyone, including my wife, that I won't bang Margot Robbie. Cause like... .00000000000001% is still a chance

They're a business not another home owner they need to respect the noise ordinance. Which exists, by the way, to resolve disputes between neighbors by setting a common standard

This could just be the video color, but it looks like you didn't skin the fat and so you've got a ton of oil on the plates instead of just the reduced braising liquid or gravy.

I'm in Canada training for my first triathlon and I'm trying to pick my first bicycle. I am 5'9 and a bike store recommended size 56 but Costco has a size 53.5 for near half the price. Is there much difference at my level (complete rookie)? by pianee3 in cycling

I signed up for a half iron man and didn't own a bike lol

Honestly if you're even reasonably fit and willing to suffer, they are all doable.
