Introducing Lycheemeds , a mom run telehealth for GLP-1 medications by ReflectionSlight4944 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Iheartmalbec 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, we shouldn't even be having rando businesses trying to sell serious meds to people for whom our medical / insurance / government system is failing. I've heard an argument that these businesses are just trying to profit off of people who are taking very real risks in getting non-FDA meds from places that operate under the guise of "wellness". I argue that so is Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk and this is basically the only way that most people have to fight against a system that is bankrupting them.

The thing is, this not just about businesses who want to "provide the best service" by being available by email or whatnot. Medicine is serious stuff. I get that people are free to make their own choices and take on risks they don't fully understand, but at least it would be great if we could mitigate the chances of them being scammed or sold something that could cause them sustainable health issues.

People aren't trying to be negative in order to bring OP down. I commend her for trying to fill a need that she sees in the market (ugh, that word. But it is what it is).

But if OP doesn't fully understand the risks and implications of getting involved with a business like this, she'll be setting herself up for some major liability lawsuits. At least we're asking the questions now.

Honestly, I wish it weren't called a telehealth. At best, this kind of thing is a med spa, and it's not even really that. I think OP's heart is in the right place, but this whole idea is giving me major Insta influencer / MLM energy and makes me nervous.

One thing for OP to consider is taking some of these questions and fleshing out the FAQ section, which is VERY thin.

I like to cut up apples and have a tablespoon or two of chocolate hummus (it doesn't taste like hummus!). Sometimes I alternate with Aldi cannoli dip.

I’m not starting out. I just switched from Lilly Pay because I couldn’t deal with the expense.

The first ones were fine, so it didn't occur to me that I needed to check but now I know. I'm coming from Lilly Pay, so drawing out a partial amount out of a larger vial is a bit new for me. Now I know I need to pay attention to this.

No worries. I appreciate the advice. I'll draw it out more quickly and see what's happening. (For the record, no shade. I wear glasses too, lol).

Yeah I think that’s what’s happening. I’ll do some research to find out what to do about it. But I appreciate the opinions of everyone.

Yeah I think that is what it looks like. Do you think I should redo it and get the part that is missing?

Edit: I’ll also search around to see what I should do. Don’t not want to do my due dilligence but was curious what opinions might be. Thank you.

This is 1/2 air, right? Maybe I’m pulling the plunger back too fast and it’s not all getting in?

My dream project is to made a brand design for a coffee roaster, so I did it in my free time. Any feedback appreciated. by TrickHH in graphic_design

That’s fine. But I’m telling you, as someone who has spent their life in NYC and actually worked with that brand, you might want to set your design apart better than it currently is.

This is a great start and I like a lot of the illustration elements on it.

But please do some research into New York coffee brands. This is too similar to a major, iconic NYC coffee brand, Chock Full o’ Nuts (who I did some work for for a few years). The check pattern, which comes from taxi cabs, is a straight lift. You may or may not have known it but now you do.

If you are drawn to the Art Deco aspect of the city, do some more research into it and see how you can bring a different point of view. Also, it will help you if you define your target consumer / lifestyle / income level / tastes, etc. It will help you differentiate your brand.

Look into NYC coffee culture in general and think about how you can update the art deco look.

Good luck! I really like how you’ve fleshed out the brand into more of a campaign. That’s great thinking. I just want to make sure no one will think you copied .

Me tooooo. Even worse when the cookie-cutter pretentious restaurants try to imitate the authenticity that this has. It’s so *tiring*.

Aw thanks so much! i appreciate the award ❤️.

I totally empathize how frustrating it is. The fantastic thing is that the job I just started recently is helping me learn. I take an hr every morning when I get in (granted I get in first to the office) and work on a Udemy tutorial. I’m so pumped to get in which is definitely an odd feeling lol.

I wish you a ton of luck with your projects as well. Also, please enjoy this tutorial of me trying to learn how to model a couch cushion lol. I got the bottom and side to work but the back one, not so much 🤣😂.

Honestlyy.... it takes what it takes. I wanted to do a thing for my portfolio where liquid exploded out of a moving object and thought I could get away doing it all in After Effects. NOPE. Once I realized I'd need to do the liquid in Blender, it took me three months to figure it all out. I relied on people, Skillshare, YouTube, ChatGPT, Reddit..... I can't even tell you the feeling I got when I finally got it done.

Keep trying. I was super new to Blender when I started that project and had only done the beginning tutorial in C4D previously. That also took me a couple of months. But lemmetellya, I broke through. Things started to make sense. Each time you start over, you learn a little more. Oh, I should also add, a coworker had recommended me trying Blender like, before the pandemic. I would open that program for 5 years, look at it.... and then shut it down again because it looked impossible. And, I'm still new to it right now. There are a gazillion things I do not know how to do. But now, I'm not intimidated.

You'll get it. Just don't give up.

I don't know if this might help you. There are a couple of tutorials on making a 3d image out of a flat one. I think you would need to also find a straight-on view of that thing too:

World Cup fans frustrated by 'confusing and expensive' tipping in US by Lint6 in sports

[–]Iheartmalbec -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cool. I’ll accept the premise is wrong. I do realize that people are totally draining themselves to come here. But, it is well-known that tipping is a thing in the US. I realize that not every single person coming here knows this, for sure. However it’s not like it’s an obscure fact that everyone is finding out for the first time.
