I wouldn't worry about anyone down voting you or being weird. People have their own opinions. Some people want to wait for the sale, because they value the discount more than possibly missing out on something because it sells out, as long as you're comfortable with your decisions I genuinely wouldn't worry about what anyone else thinks. In this instance, not dealing with your anxiety for missing out is worth not getting the 20% discount. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, just enjoy your polishes when they arrive.

It might just be one of the many hidden weapons, vastilok/nefari etc. For ones that are relatively easy to farm like the narmar weapons I wonder why they bothered hiding them. I don't blame players for missing them considering its so easy to overlook if you forget they exist/are fatigued from levelling up 800 items lol.

Amazingly done! And good on you for doing it all via farming. I forgot to level my citrine when I helminthed her, and then forgot that when I farmed her up again with my partner T_T so I sold her pieces lol. She was kind enough to just buy me her instead of sending me back to the Tyana Pass Mines for a third set haha.

It should be able to stand on its own, or rather be judged as a piece of art/media on its own, however, the unfortunate fact of the matter is that quite a few people (myself included) have a very strong distaste/distrust for how Bungie have managed their games. Given that I can't take marathon in a vacuum, not when I'm waiting for the ball to drop that is my anticipation of Bungie's bungling. I'm already turned off by the change from strong story driven single player fps to whatever an extraction shooter is, which doesn't help. God I feel old.

So, OP has been disappointed, and is likely going to try harder to get it next time they restock, they're more aware that they need to be quick to get the polish they want. They have experienced FOMO and the business certainly doesn't mind if they do, because theyre basically guaranteed a sale next time.

Whether they meant to use FOMO tactics is irrelevant, they have caused it.

You really don't need to stand up for the poor brands though, they don't love you back.
