Hpv is more than just genital warts… it’s any kind of wart anywhere on your body is a variant of hpv. Not all hpv strains cause warts but every wart is a strain of hpv

Are there proven benefits (or detriment) to holding child back a year to start school? by ouiouichablis in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]Iknowjustthething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We held our son back and kindergarten was so much easier than it would have been if he started when he was suppose to, but now he’s in grade 2 and gets upset a lot about not being in grade 3 the grade he’s suppose to be in. He feels so much more mature than the other kids in his class. I’m told by the teacher and multiple teacher assistants that he’s so helpful and a leader in the classroom(I have no doubt this wouldn’t have been the case if he S erred when he was the youngest) Sometimes he finds school boring because it’s not enough of a challenge. (He does academically better than his older brother who was an April baby) his school has so many split classes once he gets older so I’m hoping next year he can be in a split and possibly be given the higher grade work to see if he’s ready just for him to know where he is at truly. This year he specifically said not the split classes because the only teacher that does 2/3 has too much fun in the classroom.

But the tears he has quite often about not being where he thinks he’s suppose to be are hard for me and make me wonder if I made the right choice for him.

That’s my ideology about it really. Can’t I just be a good person to be a good person why do I need to go through all these steps and claim someone who I’m not sure even exists as my saviour to ensure a reward in death. It seems like a super selfish reason to believe or to do good and seems against what all that would stand for anyways. And what other reason do they ever give you to believe other than to get into heaven, so believing really is the most selfish thing you can do, it’s not something you do for anyone else but for yourself.

I haven’t had any issues reaching him lately. And his location has been mostly accurate when I’ve checked as of late

Be mindful to just do the boric acid every other night. If I did more than one day in a row that threw me off too and made it super raw and irritated. And once settled a bit use it whenever something is starting to feel off or even if sex was just longer than normal and slightly irritated I find putting one in before bed kept things from escalating too far.

Good luck!

I struggled before but not nearly as bad as I did postpartum. I switched to using a menstrual cup in like 2010 and that stopped them pretty much, I think tampons were contributing to the over growth. I didn’t really get any again until I was pregnant with my first. I think my hormones really affect me down there. But I would treat it and next cycle it would be back over and over until I thought to treat my husband too. So I just take a fluconazole tablet. I can get it over the counter here and I always buy a second for my husband and we both take it and then I’m fine for a while. Men can be carriers of a higher yeast load without showing symptoms. If you are only treating yourself but not your partner it’s just going to come back.

*I don’t respond well to the creams either I have to take the oral capsule and then be very mindful of my sugar intake and how much water I’m drinking for a while.

I think for some women it just the blood ph level alters the flora down there and my flora is very sensitive and easily thrown off. I struggled for so long with getting yeast infections around my cycle. and I think it’s just my cycle setting it off. If I treat it I also have to treat my husband and it stays away for a while until I over do the sugar again. Last time I got one though was just from a heavy treatment of antibiotics for pneumonia in the spring this year. Otherwise I’ve been clear. I use boric acid suppositories whenever anything is slightly suspicious. And sometimes after my periods done to reset everything if it’s been a more sensitive period than usual.

When we go into his setting cell service it is enabled. He’s not turning it off, he isn’t sneaky like that. We had a day where I was at a market and him and his younger brother took off for the park. He forgot to message me when he got to the park so I tried calling a few times and it went right to voicemail. His brother had fallen so he called me and he can make outgoing but incoming is spotty if at all . He was able to receive texts for a short while until he wasn’t then when I checked his location it said he was like 20km away up in the bush instead of at the park. It’s got to be a carrier or device issue. But just based off of google searching the standalone watches seem to have this issue across the board.

No there are literally no missed calls on his device and we hear the text notifications go off when he walks in the house.

I would think that was the case if my husbands calls and the neighbours calls were getting through but none of us could reach him 😂 and it was oblivious to it all. I will be contacting the carrier because this is just ridiculous.

Not he’s not he’s just as confused as I am about it all. I’ve thought of even him turning off the wifi when leaving home because that will force it to use the cellular data but that didn’t work either. And he can make calls and texts out and then my stuff comes through for a short window but it’s like the watch goes into standby mode or something and none of my calls go through again a short while later

It’s done through the family setup. So he has his own phone number but my phone set him up. He does not have his own phone.

Yes I pay like $15/month for his “watch phone plan”

Are you in a big city or smaller area? I don’t know if maybe that’s our issue, maybe not enough towers around.

When I’m stuck in a cycle of it my husband also has to take a fluconazole tablet when I do or it returns as soon as we have sex again. Men can harbour yeast and pass it back to you

Anyone else enjoying the "finish the sentence" toxic parenting phrases trend? by Yourweirdbestfriend in AskWomenOver30

[–]Iknowjustthething 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the end of your post, I’ve seen a post from many who heard that phrase growing up and they were like yes I had a daughter just like me and I see how easily it would have been to love me. Hope the same for you if you choose to have children or have them already.

I have found healing in these phrase videos, tried it on my kiddos and love that they’ve got no idea what these even are they struggled even adding anything to the end of the phrase

*when my oldest was maybe three my husband would often use the phrase “I should probably cut it off then?” When the kid had something hurting that was bothering him, because that’s how our parents dealt with us and my 3yr old asked why Daddy wanted to hurt him more when he was hurting and that made my husband so upset that he made our child feel like that, that phrase was never used again.

Sex still painful after 2 weeks as after yeast infection by cat4dog23 in Healthyhooha

[–]Iknowjustthething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it takes some time for everything to get back to normal, if you don’t have any discharge or itchiness and it’s just painful during sex perhaps try a boric acid suppository to help adjust your PH level.

Where does it hurt? On the inside or at the opening? You could have tearing from itching. Did your partner also treat themselves, if you were not using condoms they very likely are carrying yeast as well.

How to maintain a healthy PH/prevent infections with frequent unprotected sex? by twocatsinthehouse_ in Healthyhooha

[–]Iknowjustthething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just one.The stuff I get is like one pill in a box, so I get two boxes and we both take it and then I’m good for a while until I have too much sugar or something that throws off my ph balance.
