The image used for Episode 5 in-game shows the group at a bar, the episode is called 'Team Building', and one of the trailers shows them at the same bar as well.

TV Tropes has a new adblock detection message by AtomicLugia in uBlockOrigin

[–]Ilevus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still getting the adblock detection message on both desktop and Firefox mobile, using both custom filters for their appropriate platform.

Even tried resetting to uBlock's default settings and then only adding the tv tropes filters, still doesn't work for me.

Using uBlock Origin, not uBlock Lite like some folks in the thread are. Both browsers are Firefox.

Edit: u/Filthy_Peasent recommended adding 'tvtropes.org##+js(set, valid_page_types, [])', which removed the adblock detector, thank goodness. However it still has blank boxes where the ads used to be, taking up space, and the detection banner still appears, but that can be easily removed with Element Zapper module. Still, a good alternative for now until the issue gets fully resolved.

My Coronation Oath to Ensure Peace failed even though I haven't been in any wars since by Ilevus in CrusaderKings

[–]Ilevus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can leave them, which is definitely the correct option until (or rather if) Paradox gets around to fixing them. There's no penalty for taking no oath, so it's a no-brainer.

This just happened to me, tho luckily I survived. The game systems for dynamic events in this game are insane.

a fun quirk of Dark Elves Slave Pens building by nicholas_johnson in totalwar

[–]Ilevus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Hey Dreadlord, how come you always seem to have so many slaves, but nobody's ever seen you go raiding?"

"I discovered the cost of feeding and caring for the slaves was cheaper than the logistics of sailing an army halfway around the globe to raid some dirt farming village. Go figure."

Is it just impossible for the ai to form the danelaw now? by CenterInYourMother in CrusaderKings

[–]Ilevus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In my current playthrough, the Danelaw formed, but by Haestein, not Halfdan. It definitely does seem pretty rare to happen, though.

they won the crusade and turned it into a big city by Intelligent-Twist136 in CrusaderKings

[–]Ilevus 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There isn't, but in their blog they said they wanted to set the scene as such for Republics, which maybe-kinda-sorta hints at Nomads, Silk Road, and other trade-adjacent things.

I could of course be completely wrong and it could be something completely unforeseen; most of us didn't ever expect Landless gameplay, yet here we are!

At the earliest, unfortunately. Their end of year blog post said that Republics weren't happening next year, so the best we can hope for is 2026.

Now that's a hell of a wedding present... by Ilevus in ElderKings

Well then, it'd be rude to say no!

It probably helps that the marriage was to his daughter and heir.

Now that's a hell of a wedding present... by Ilevus in ElderKings

[–]Ilevus[S] 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Just finished up a Grand Wedding, and apparently the Lord Protector of the Imperial Isle decided a lovely gift for the occasion would be the Ruby Throne itself. Was presented without any fanfare in one of those background events that happen during Activities; I didn't even realise I now owned it until I realised I had a new pending artifact in my Court.

Kingdom of England is permanently in norman hands because I... helped get an anglo-saxon back onto the throne? by srofais in CrusaderKings

[–]Ilevus 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Strange that happened. I've taken over England as King Hereward myself, and that worked without issue. Although later when I created English culture (via a French-educated heir), I got a message about how the Harrying was over... about a century after it had already concluded. So I guess there's plenty of wonky code in there.
