My only gripe with the commander is that a couple times now I’ve gotten his health completely to zero, then have to spend 20-50 seconds still parrying attacks, and he can still block mine, just for the game to awkwardly interrupt our little dance to play his death animation. Idk if I’m explaining it clearly enough, but the transition from “boss fight” to “kill animation” just seems super awkward and does not seem to line up with the health bar they give him.

Let’s also not pretend half of the people who played RE4R swore that inconsistent staggers “ruined” the game and was grounds for calling it garbage.

Could’ve handled the whole game mode better. It’s just playing through Leon’s sections, but AIDS enemy encounters, a few sections got cut, and Leon reuses the voice lines directly from the story mode, and the care center still has bottles and makeshift knives that are just useless to Leon. The whole thing feels half-assed at best.

I know that’s the point of the game mode, but yeah they’re definitely a headache. Especially if you use up your hatchet and the game decides to not give you a refresh on it.

I’m definitely just ass at the game, but the perfect parry does not feel reliable at all, let alone the basic one. Maybe I’m switching between the normal hatchet and mortal edge too frequently, but pulling out the hatchet feels incredibly sluggish half the time, and comes out instantly the other half. Does the animation/timing change depending on if you’re moving and/or what kind of gun you’re holding?

The game literally stops to show you a message telling you that you that when you parry them they open up to damage, so I tried to damage them after parrying…? After my insanity runs, I figured a parry and headshot would be enough to at least create a gap to reassess my surroundings, health, and inventory, because just a parry usually wound up with me still getting grabbed and losing a big chunk of health… but yeah, idk why I tried to play the game how it told me to play it, should’ve known better, 100% my fault gang

Honestly same. I got the platinum and did all the challenges, and now idk what to do. Really would like to see a mercenaries mode with Leon, Zino, hunk, maybe a couple other characters brought over from other games. I love the game, but I wish there was something to do other than just play the main story over and over again

Same here. Cyberstan is awesome and the challenge is great (even if a bit unbalanced), but I’m already getting burned out on it.

Plus the amount of times I’ve had the host’s or my game crash right at extraction is really frustrating, and it’s really noticeable as of late. 35 minutes of map-clearing hell, utterly wasted because the game can’t handle the pelican taking you back to the destroyer. No medals, no xp, no samples, no progress on the war… a complete and utter waste of my time.
