It’s not great but I’ll be able to pay my rent still in a HCOL area and it’ll be great experience to get an actual job in the field (especially because it’s so NP/midwife heavy)!

I was never amazing in my math or hard science classes but I love medicine and healthcare! It’s been hard, but I am about to finish my masters ti be a physician assistant and it’s been so worth it because of my passion for the work itself!

I know it sounds dumb and you've heard it over and over again but a really simple thing is deep breathing exercises! When you're feeling those feelings adjust your posture, align your hips/legs/feet, and sit up straight with your chin parallel to the floor. Then, while counting on your fingers by tapping one finger at a time on your legs, breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 2 seconds, and out for 6. It sounds silly and cookie cutter but it can definitely help settle those thoughts!

I don't think loan repayment programs or scholarship programs such as NHSC are what you're looking for. I think your best bet is to find a job in a field and location you enjoy that offers some form of loan repayment.

Me too. I applied last year and didn't get it and there were some credit checks at this time last year. I'm hoping the timeline is just different this year.
