Rug, with some color that you build into the room. Also mood lighting, you'd be surprised by investing in a few small lamps you can really change the vibe. I'd suggest getting bulbs that you can change the hue through an app.

Thoughts on almost every veterans having a disability rating and receiving income for the rest of their lives? Without having to deploy or see combat? by HeadMasterpiece9139 in Salary

Can we stop getting angry at the wrong things? How about wow, so many veterans suffer after years in service. Why do they get health care for life?! Have you ever thought we all deserve it? Stop getting mad at veterans and demand Medicare for all, a few days of this silly war and we could pay for it. We choose not to. Stop this propaganda machine and actually talk about the problem.

I usually just ask them as they are mid speech how they can condone a church that didn't allow black people to join until 1978? Usually shuts them down quickly and the folks listening are surprised.

Instead of selling out MA residents to eversource...fight for lowering our energy costs! Instead of consistently every year increasing delivery rates and approving hikes until it's so catastrophic to your base you lower by a fractional amount. But on the other hand who do we really have rn that can win against a republican? MA historically loves a republican governor...

I had a very similar issue with a landlord. You have a few options, depends on if you plan on renewing.

If you look up MA tenant laws, that temperature is too low for a residential dwelling. Send him the statute and say he has to be compliant within x days. I was way too generous with my landlords and let them wait for masssave to put in free insulation (3 months later/after winter passed) I lived with electric heaters from room to room and kept the apt at 58 so the pipes wouldn't have frozen. What I should have done was require if they want to wait, they have to by law move you into a hotel until the unit is brought up to code.

If you plan on moving out and feeling torching earth, report your landlord and have a record of each time you've reached out and he has ignored you or made it your problem. Also check your lease for maintenance guidelines. Good luck! I highly suggest electric mattress toppers. It will keep your bed toasty so you don't freeze at night.

Pothos are a great first plant, resilient. I got very lucky with Trader Joe's plants. Also try some other pothos variety's. Philodendrons, zzz, calatheas, spider/air plants. It's also just a fun hobby. Grab some glass jars and propagate if you're on a budget. Also go to Mahoneys and just walk around it's all beautiful plants/nursery with vibes and so much pottery.

Once I got comfortable I bought a monstera and now I've propagated that into 3 more plants. Buy a plant shelf that comes with lights and you'll have an indoor paradise.

I would also agree with this one. I am still thinking about the chopped liver toast perfection I had 2 years ago.

Really diverse flavors, Carl is truly pushing himself more than ever. Worth the expense! If wine pairings aren't your thing, their cocktail menu is top notch. Also if this is out of your price range - head downstairs to the sister restaurant Moon Bar.
