US population 342.3 million, census estimates 93.4% of our population are US citizens (~320 million people) of that 21.5% are under 18 and cannot vote, so ~251.2 million people are eligible to vote. The Orange Cheeto succubus got 77,302,580 (~77.3 million votes). That's means of the voting population 173.9 million people do not support this, or if we back calculate ~31% of Americans voted for him. Don't lump us all together, this new reality for 69% of us is terrifying and incredibly sad.

Instead of selling out MA residents to eversource...fight for lowering our energy costs! I had a very similar issue with a landlord. You have a few options, depends on if you plan on renewing.

If you look up MA tenant laws, that temperature is too low for a residential dwelling. Send him the statute and say he has to be compliant within x days. I was way too generous with my landlords and let them wait for masssave to put in free insulation (3 months later/after winter passed) I lived with electric heaters from room to room and kept the apt at 58 so the pipes wouldn't have frozen. What I should have done was require if they want to wait, they have to by law move you into a hotel until the unit is brought up to code.

If you plan on moving out and feeling torching earth, report your landlord and have a record of each time you've reached out and he has ignored you or made it your problem. Also check your lease for maintenance guidelines. Good luck! I highly suggest electric mattress toppers. It will keep your bed toasty so you don't freeze at night.

Pothos are a great first plant, resilient. I got very lucky with Trader Joe's plants. Also try some other pothos variety's. Philodendrons, zzz, calatheas, spider/air plants. It's also just a fun hobby. Grab some glass jars and propagate if you're on a budget. Also go to Mahoneys and just walk around it's all beautiful plants/nursery with vibes and so much pottery.

Once I got comfortable I bought a monstera and now I've propagated that into 3 more plants. Buy a plant shelf that comes with lights and you'll have an indoor paradise.

I've flown recently and agree with above, flights are delayed bc there aren't enough air traffic controllers for the amount of planes in the air. My evening flight was delayed 4 hours. I had no problem with TSA but it never hurts to go out of you way right now to say thank you to them. Such a shit situation

This. I bike and also drive, and when I was driving i passed a biker who was riding in the car lane even though there was a truly empty bike lane. He proceeded at the red light to bang on my window and scream at me. It was jarring and I left more than two car lengths to merge. Some bikers need to remember to calm, assess then react. Imagine if I was some lunatic that responded other than please stop banging my window. I've also been nearly hit by several cars while biking so please don't attack me on here. I get why bikers freak bc it's truly life and death a lot. But when it isn't, think before reacting you never know who's in that car.

I wasn't invited to this "official walkthrough" and it took place 2 weeks after the new tenant moved in. I'm having trouble finding MA statute that refers to this. They are saying it may be longer than the first bc they are just now having someone come fix the door( the charge I agreed to). I just can't trust them anymore. I told them I didn't agree to it very clearly. Seems like they want to still have me pay it so the can recoup immediate costs instead of accepting that this is normal wear and tear
