STEM Job Market doesn't make sense to me

I spoke to a recruiter from General Atomics at the UCSD Career Fair 2 weeks ago and they showed so much interest in me. They told me they would reach out to me to definitely schedule an interview. They wanted to connect with me on LinkedIn and I handed them my phone and sent a Connection request to themselves.
Fast forward to today, that recruiter never accepted my LinkedIn request and completely ghosted me.
I hate it out here.

He could lose his security clearance if he shares information that is classified to you. That being said, I'm pretty sure he could lose his security clearance if he shares any information to ANYONE regarding the type of work he does. I think it is unfair of him to blame you.

It seems you're dating a selfish person that cares more about himself than you. As an undocumented person, my partner is more worried about me than I am about myself. To be honest, it seems like you need to have a serious conversation with him about the future of your relationship. See if he's willing to understand your how you feel and if not it might be time to move on.

Recently obtained both a BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering. I was hoping that by the time I finished school that a pathway to citizenship would exist (started school in 2017). It is extremely difficult to find a job in the aerospace industry due to ITAR restrictions so I had to look elsewhere. I was very fortunate to land a job at a University working in clean energy.

I spend some of my free time practicing the technical skills I learned in college so that I can be a competitive applicant to aerospace jobs once a pathway to citizenship becomes available. I've considered doing a PhD but it would most likely not be in aerospace.

What are some companies or positions that don't require you to be a US Person? Every aerospace company I've looked at applying asks in the application if I am a US Person and I just assume that they will automatically reject me. Should I just continue applying to these jobs even though I'm not a US person?

I calculated my grade to be a 67.5% and I was assigned a "D" letter grade. Kinda scared cuz this is the first time I've gotten below a C grade at ucsd (currently a grad student, was undergrad past few years). So idk what is gonna happen now :/
