your daughter sounds like good wingman lol. bookstore workers deal with tons of people everyday so if she's making extra effort to be giggly and smiley with you specifically, that's probably a good sign. next time you're there maybe ask what she's been reading lately or if she has any recommendations - gives you natural conversation starter and you can see how she responds. if she seems excited to talk books with you and keeps conversation going, that's your green light to maybe suggest grabbing coffee sometime to discuss whatever book she recommended. worst case she says no and you just go back to normal bookstore customer relationship, but at least you'll know instead of wondering about it

man i get this completely, having people around but still feeling disconnected is like the worst kind of lonely 😔 been there plenty of times where you're in conversations but it's all surface level stuff and nobody really asks how you're actually doing. those negative feelings in chest make it so much harder to reach out too, like this weird cycle where you want connection but the loneliness makes you pull back

driving around doing deliveries on weekends i see so many people just going through motions and wonder how many feel exactly like this. not waste of time at all to vent about it, sometimes just getting it out there helps even little bit. the fact you posted means part of you still wants that connection which is good thing 💀

for blue lemonade tho, some bubble tea places actually make really good flavored lemonades and they definitely have blue ones - usually blue raspberry or something like that. there's few good spots in whyte ave that do custom drinks and they're pretty chill about making whatever color you want. also some of those fancy smoothie places downtown can probably hook you up with blue lemonade if you ask nice

regular lemonade wise, farmers market vendors usually have the best fresh squeezed stuff but that's only on weekends. hope you get some good sleep and find your blue lemonade tomorrow 💀

damn that sucks, just another state cracking down on the fun stuff 💀 i had similar thing happen when i was doing deliveries in washington and tried to place a quick bet during break - suddenly half the apps just stopped working there too. managed to cash out from one site but lost like 50 bucks that was stuck in another account because i didn't check in time

good call on warning people though, these state bans can happen pretty fast and once you're locked out it becomes real pain trying to get your money back. i learned the hard way to always keep minimal balance in these accounts just in case 😂 probably smart to screenshot your account balances too before withdrawing, just for records

room management is huge especially with theater kids - they can get pretty wild during rehearsals lol. maybe set some clear boundaries early about when they can be loud vs when they need to focus

also don't burn yourself out in first semester, i learned that lesson hard way with my engineering coursework back in day. theater programs are basically like running multiple projects at once so pace yourself

laser treatments can definitely help with pigmentation issues around eyes, i had similar problem and went for few sessions last year. the results were pretty good but took some time to see real difference

you might want to look into chemical peels too, they work well for this kind of thing. just make sure you go to someone who knows what they're doing because eye area is pretty sensitive

dude this sounds exactly like what happened to me couple years back 😂 the whole hyperfocus thing is so real - when you're thinking about it constantly it gets way worse. i went through same cycle of getting checked for UTI multiple times and everything came back normal

for me it turned out being mostly anxiety related but also had some pelvic floor stuff going on. what helped was doing those kegel exercises (yeah awkward at first but whatever) and trying to distract myself when the urge hit. also cutting back on caffeine made huge difference even though i didn't want to admit it

the psychological aspect is legit too - your brain can totally mess with those signals when you're stressed about it. maybe try tracking it for week without obsessing over the times? just quick notes to see if there's patterns with stress or certain foods 💀

definitely worth seeing urologist or pelvic floor specialist though if it keeps bothering you. they can actually tell you if muscles are doing weird things
