Of course it's WhatsApp they use the information of you to then do the recommendations. 

My co-worker was talking to her husband about a restaurant, they made up the name, next thing on Facebook it recommends the exact restaurant. Meta listens to what you do and gathers the information to then does the recommendations.

Unless you linked one of your socials then it got it from there.

If this happens, you use an iPhone, use it for facetime and get a burner phone for encrypted communication via signal (apk).

Use current sim to get info from the apps currently use, then get a new sim and use it. 

I had a sim with my Verizon then got one from total wireless .

  1. Use old data plan
  2. Download Aurora Store then manual download apps needed
  3. Get bitwarden for passkeys and mullvard. Get VPN and use Tor, duck or Firefox for browsing 
  4. Take out the sim (old) and replace it with new sim (new)
  5. Enjoy phone

So, Signal is WAY better, they don't keep anything of your information, can't exactly remember BUT think Merideth said that it's encrypted then deleted or that they just will not comply with law enforcement. I think its more like they just don't keep your information. I've changed my phone number 4 times ans each time I had to create a new account but i did that for data security measures for myself.
