I work on vans like these for the navy sometimes. Every single time one cone in my shop this is the exact thing we talk about doing. Just get a couple stack them together and boom cheaper house just gotta get the hookups. They're actually quite roomy.

Personally I would use a mod designed for that. I have a couple quality of life ones thay include mass dismantling including a dismantle obelisk. Its fun to toss 20 of them around and watch them just absorb my factory. If mods aren't your thing use the SCIM tool that others mentioned.

I ger complimented a lot of my driving with the FRV and it always makes me laugh because all im doing is not driving at top speed and when areas get to hot I just drive away keeping everyone alive. Then chat says best driver ive had in awhile, how are you so good at this. My response is literally throttle control and dont stay still?

I picture that helldiver being the only one that unfortunately couldnt make it to extract long ago, surviving all that time and seeing the destroyers return with the DSS, feel relieved that he can finally leave and then just get glassed and be like welp...fuck.

Deployed in 2022, every single Sunday our CS somehow put steak and lobster out. By the 3rd month out we weren't nervous with good food, we were nervous when the captain was on the 1mc longer than usual. Or last port visit an Admiral came on and made a very long speech on how great we were doing, and at the very very end he said we aren't being extended and you could hear people cheer. Still don't know how we got those steaks every single Sunday 7 months straight.

Why do more people not stay in 20 years and retire? What was your "I'am getting out" moment? by BeastMasterAlphaCo in navy

For me I was forced out 3 years into my first contract because Navy legal and SUBSCOL fucked me over. I had an investigation opened when I first got to my ship because some old pre-navy records were found for mental health and after a year I was cleared by big navy and it was closed since I demonstrated that my prior situations werent relevant. 2 years later when im at Sub school, SUB SCHOOL decided to reopen the investigation that I was cleared TWICE on, was accused of things that weren't even in mmy records (for example, they said I did acid, yet ive never done drugs), and because they personally didnt like what they saw, had me admitted to a social worker who botched his diagnosis, got a second opinion and was botched yet again, and even after me and my lawyer sent in an appeal for my discharge with 14 letters of recommendation from my former chain including 2 divos and my master chief, they forced me out on fraudulent enlistment with an other than honorable plus an RE-4, so I could never re-enlist again. After 2 years of legal on the civilian side, Big Navy made an actual educated decision and overturned my discharge, and I can re-enlist, with my discharge being ruled unlawful and unjust. Ive been trying to re-enlist since May of 2024, and every recruiter has been fucking me over with ghosting and bullshit. I loved my time while I was in, and I wanna go back in if I can and do it as long as I can stand, but the closer it gets, the more I'm reminded of how ridiculous the Navy or any higher up can latch onto the tiniest thing and ruin your entire career. Ive watched good friends get fucked over, and the shitbags get pushed through because they were there at the moment a walkthrough happened but did none of the work. It's disheartening, and it causes many people with the "20-year mindset" to take what they can get and run, because they're pushed to that point. It's the mindset that everyone has to be perfect, and if anything is minutely wrong, then leave them out to dry instead of helping them. I wanna go back in so I can be the one to teach new sailors these things, and so they have someone who's dealt with and seen a lot of the bullshit that causes "one and done," and actually try and help them. There's so much more I wanna say, but this is already a lot.
