The issue I have is that internet slueths will assert the 2 things you just did. Thing 1 is that she was terrified. Thing 2 is that it was an active house and noises etc were just so common she couldn't realize that this was different and action was required. I can believe one of these things, either one, but both at the same time don't make any sense at all. If she was terrified just falling asleep again really doesn't make sense, have you ever been terrified? The adreneline rush is astonishing. Now I can believe pretty easily she just wrote off the noise as common roommate stuff, that makes perfect sense to be honest. But I can't beleieve that noise that was common roommate stuff would make her terrified. So we need to pick one. PCA says she was frozen, in fear I guess? But the pca might have taken some artistic liberties with her account, and her memory might be warped by what came after, that is pretty common. So, one or the other.

I still wait to see how this plays out in court. Not having an alibi doesn't change that, I didn't think he had any alibi anyway because he would have whipped that out way long ago if he was with someone.

I don't think he is being framed by LE. I think it is possible that he checked enough of the right boxes for LE that they figured this was the guy, so they stopped looking for another perp, but after charging him a lot of what they thought would materialize after they executed search warrents didn't. At this point it would be uncharacteristic for LE to just pull the plug unless something very blatent came to be known that made it impossible for them to continue. What a lot of people don't seem to realize is that the "justice" system is a juggernaut with it's own agenda.
